East End was our first stop of the night and it was not a good experience. Normally a great place with great service. Ordered two tequila shots with lime and a couple other drinks. Got our tequila shots first while we waited for our other drinks, but got no limes for the shots. Waited a bit, but never received them. Hard to flag a bartender down because it's busy which is fine. I'm a waitress and I know how it gets. Waited a little longer and I saw the garnish tray they had. Tried to see if they did have limes so I opened. I just wanted to make sure they had limes. Sometimes places run out of things. It happens. I know better then to just dig my hands in to something like that and help myself to whatever I want. Next thing you know this older looking bartender when ginger looking hair in a green tank top comes and slams the tray lid down and says "this isn't a f* buffet." I realized I did something wrong so I just walked back to where I was. The bartender that took our drink order saw what happened and repeatedly apologized to us. I told him it's not his fault and to cancel our other drinks because we didn't feel welcomed anymore. I also stated to the girl that there is no reason to treat costumers like sh**. She replied with "I don't treat costumers like sh**, this is a bartenders fruit tray, not a f buffet." I'm not saying that I wasn't in the wrong in anyway, but I don't feel like it was that bad of a situation to be treated like that for. A simple "Hey please don't touch that" would have been more professional. As we were leaving a costumer that saw this lady treat us so poorly told us that she treated them very rudly as well. Obviously that attitude is a norm for her. Still leaving 4 stars because the other employees are nice, respectful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been here a couple times. The feeling is familiar. In the sense that you're walking into a group of people who want to know each other. They actively engage, and seek to understand the difference between you and your dollar. You're not spending to impress here. Instead, say hello, make some friends, and share about life. Stars should be 4.5. The pool tables number only 2, and the other activities are halted because of carona. Atmosphere is slightly dive (which I appreciate) but service is solid as long as the bar isn't too packed. If you're not pretentious, i think you'll have a nice time here. Lots of good people on the occasions I've managed to show up. If you're not afraid to say hello, you'll...
