We wanted to try something different in town as we normally just stick to the restaurants on 4th street when going out to eat. We were really excited to try the food and had heard the service was wonderful here. We had reservations and were seated right away then we just waited and waited for 13 minutes (we even said maybe we should just leave to each other) before our server came over, the table across from us that was just seated was greeted by their server at the same time as our server finally came over. I don’t know if it was a host issue or a server issue but we had just wished to hear “oh sorry for the wait we are so busy” but got nothing just a rushed what do you want and annoyance from Rosana. It was hands down the worse service at a seat down restaurant I can remember in years. The bartender did a wonderful job and made excellent Old Fashions! The food was great except for the calamari in the seafood fritto misto which was completely over cooked yet the shrimp and carrots were cooked perfectly. My husband said his chicken parm was perfect but the broccolini was slightly over cooked. The lobster ravioli was amazing but I was disappointed in the crab legs that came with it because of the review pictures online as it was not a full set but just the claw and one other leg. We never got any bread while watching other servers bring it to other tables. We had planned on having a few more rounds of drinks and dessert here but because of the extremely poor service we went to a different restaurant in town to continue the night. We did not want to continue having bad service and never want to return as the food was good and there is more here we would like to try. We will definitely come back but just hope not to get Rosana as our server again, so we can have a great experience like we saw other guests having.

Such a lovely experience. Our server, Demaris, was great. She suggested a great wine and pasta pairing that did not disappoint. The food was delicious! Garlic bread was great, pear ravioli was delicious, the lobster ravioli special was amazing, and the tiramisu was phenomenal! Do you know how hard it is to find a good tiramisu!? I try it everywhere I go and am usually disappointed but this place knocked it out of the park. The lobster ravioli with crab legs was such a good deal and my husband was very satisfied with it. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the bruschetta. It wasn't bad by any means, just not my personal favorite. They were busy but took good care of us and allowed us space to enjoy our meal. Paced everything out. I quite enjoyed our time here and despite what other reviews say, I felt the prices were incredibly reasonable. Granted I do live in Portland so I am used to city prices but for both of us couples to walk out the door having multiple drinks, appetizers, dinner, and dessert for just under a hundred dollars per couple, I think that is more than reasonable. Thank you for such a wonderful double date night Scalzotto!

Absolutely fantastic food, and Kelsey, our waitress, was helpful and prompt. We spent the whole drive home going OOOOH that was SO good. We had the burrata appetizer, it was so much better than we thought it would be. Everything was perfect, even the greens that were on the plate were dressed properly and so yummy. I had the Chicken Parm at Kelsey's recommendation, and it was better than it had any right to be. The sauce was creamy and a little sweet, but the garlic made it fantastic. The chicken was moist. The portion size was so big I had half for lunch today!! We also had the Bolognese, and it was delicious the red wine just made it fantastic. The handmade noodles on both dishes made them stand out. While we shared the Strawberry Panna Cotta for dessert, next time I won’t share, it was that good. A beautiful hidden gem, with tables that are set in a way that makes it intimate and private. We have already planned to go back and try something else! Came back again, brought the family and food was A+ Missed the homemade focaccia thought! But this time we took pictures. Oh and I ordered my own Strawberry Panna Cotta!!!

Told myself I wouldnt review this place while mad. Ended up forgetting about the experience altogether until I came across this place while looking for places to eat tonight. Made my blood boil all over again. After some deep breaths I feel I can write this out..

Literally the worst to-go order experience I've ever had. Showed up at roughly 610 for a 615 pickup. Had to wait for them to address the person in front of me for 15 minutes. They then ignored me for another 10 minutes before I finally stopped a waitress to ask about my order. She came back 10 minutes later to tell me they were running behind on to-go orders, that it would be another 10-15 minutes. 20-25 minutes later I was best friends with 3 food delivery service drivers when I finally asked to speak to the manager. I kid you not, when she showed up 10 minutes later, she told me it would be another 15 minutes, that they were just really backed up. It was now after 7. I started to watch people who came in to sit down and eat pay their bills and leave. The poor food delivery drivers were really becoming depressed as the longer they waited, the more they knew their tips were dwindling. 20 minutes later I had to stop another waitress to ask for the manager again. She did not come back out, before I was finally handed my food 15 minutes later. I left just before 8 for an order that was scheduled for 615 and for what very sadly ended up being not much of a portion of each order.

I've had better Italian food at Olive Garden.

Will literally...

Was really excited to try this place. As we walked in it was rather hot as there was no a/c. We were seated at our table in a timely fashion but waited 20 min for a server to get our drink order. No kids menus came out and they had no beverages that were child friendly. Ex chocolate milk or apple juice. We started with a caprese salad that came out on a wooden board To make it look fancy but lacked flavor. Still having high hopes for the entrees.. The bread was good I can say that. As soon as our meals came out my chicken parm was a huge hunk of chicken that wasn’t thoroughly cooked, the breading was slimy and the sauce just forget it! Being Italian myself I know what authentic Italian food is and this was not it by a long shot! The gnocchi was over cooked from my mothers dish, my sons meatball was dry and had a huge hair in his spaghetti. He literally spit it out and he’s 3 who loves his noodles! My nephews “Alfredo” had barely any sauce and then chicken was chewy and dry. Not a pleasant experience. The manager was very kind and only charged us for our drinks, told us the cook was probably being lazy because it was close to ending his shift. Find a better cook then! I will never return to this establishment. She told us the owners had just moved here from Italy.. doubtful, but even so their “authentic” recipes are not being executed properly. Fancy atmosphere doesn’t make up for low quality food. Skip this place. If you know what...
