The kiss of fire roll was fun. Too much vinegar sauce for my preference because I like the fish flavors to come forward more usually. But fun. I got ikura with quail egg as well. The brine was a bit sweet. I prefer lighter salt brine, again so fish flavor comes forward more, but it fresh which can be tricky to find around here. Free tea was a nice perk. Nice ambiance. Fair prices. Update: 5/27/19 visit Heart Attack appetizer was delicious. I get this dish everywhere I go for sushi and their take is spot on. My partner had the Loveland Roll, and although he's a weirdo who's not a big avocado fan, he thought the roll was delightful and would order again. He also got 2 tuna rolls. The tuna was a stack of thin slices rather than a thick piece. Tasty, but lost some textural pleasure. I got The Diablo roll, which was all baked. It was not pleasant. The cooked spicy tuna, topped with cooked scallops was fishy and unbalanced. Maybe it just wasn't my bag. They were VERY nice about taking it back. I ordered the Front Range Roll to replace and it was amazing.

Everything was delicious and prepared beautifully. I sat at the bar with the sushi chef like I usually do and he prepared me what he thought was the best stuff on his menu for the day. They had just ran out of tuna so he gave me some salmon and some yellowtail and then prepared me a torched version of some beautiful sushi that I'm not even sure with the name was but it was delicious and it looked great. Service was good. I got checked on often and my ichiban was always full. The waiter was cool, Fun to talk to and prompt. All in all it was a pretty good visit. I really liked it and I will be back.

I recently dined here with my family at this sushi restaurant and was blown away by the quality of the sushi, fresh ramen, and green tea. The flavors were truly exceptional and the presentation was beautiful. But what really stood out to me was the level of service - the staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make my dining experience truly unforgettable. To top it off, the prices were incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing sushi experience at a great value."

This was our first time here, and we came in for entrees. We were a bit intimidated by the choices, as we're not familiar with Japanese food. I also usually order tofu and vegetables, so there really wasn't a lot on the menu for me. The server explained they could sub tofu, so I was happy. My husband ordered a teriyaki steak and chicken combo, and asked if there were veggies, and was assured there were. His meal was $24.95, and he received a side plate with plenty of thinly-sliced chicken, which he said was good, with very few thinly sliced veggies underneath. The other plate had medium rare to medium steak, with way too much gristle, not thinly sliced like the chicken nor as plentiful, and it was undercooked for him, and he wasn't asked how he wanted it cooked. He was disappointed in the leaf of cabbage and the few thin slices of carrots, not what he expected. I ordered Bibim-Bap, but with tofu. The veggies were cold and raw, with the exception of the spinach being cooked. I forgot to ask what kind of mushrooms, so I ended up picking the shitake ones out, my bad. I asked for the fried egg well-done, but the center came out runny. I wasn't a fan of the oil the tofu was cooked in, and it was cut very small and not a lot of it, and the chili paste was awful. I ordered brown rice, so it was a $2.50 up charge and why??? Rice is cheap! Nothing special about the decor, pretty dated, not a lot of seating. The good part is they tip their kitchen staff 30% if we tip by credit card. I'm sure people enjoy the sushi here, but the entrees are over priced for...

The food is really good, if you can get it. We tried ordering for pick-up today and they said it would be fourtyfive minutes before we could even place the order. We then asked how long the wait was to be seated and we were told there is no wait to be seated, sushi was just backed up. So, we thought we would go ahead and head up there and order the non-sushi things we wanted and just wait for the sushi. Well, we made our 8 min drive up there and apparently everything changed. After waiting at the front for a while, the host tells us that they are not taking any guest, not that it was going to be a wait, just that they aren't taking any. Oh, and keep I mind the restaurant is COMPLETELY EMPTY, not a single person at a table. I told the host, you just told me I could come up here and be seated, she said sorry we're understaffed. A GrubHub driver out front over heard us talking on the way out and said he was thirty minutes past his pick up time. This was our third consecutive time having issues with this place. Food has been really good when we were able to get it, but it seems to be getting harder and harder each time. We will definitely be trying to find a new...

It takes a lot for me to get angry. I’ve been a server for 7 years so I know that things happen, but this place really let me down. We ordered sake and it was awful, so we asked if we could possibly get something different. The answer was no, which was fine.

Then, I ordered 3 rolls that were all vegetable. There was salmon in the sweet potato tempura roll and imitation crab in the veggie tempura. When I brought this to the servers attention, he started to argue with me saying that both of them were listed on the rolls on the main menu. That was not true. When I asked him to show me where it says that on the menu he left the restaurant and had another server take care of us. The sashimi that my friends got was frozen.

When our new server (who was very nice) called the owner, he offered us a free dessert. Honestly, no amount of mochi could make this bad experience better.

My friends and I are finding a new spot for sushi. I felt like I was argued with and lied to when it could have been so much simpler. If you have a choice, go somewhere else. The customer is not a...
