I have been a regular attendee at Bingo Planet on Sundays, but after my experience last night, I feel compelled to share my concerns. Every Sunday, there seems to be a recurring issue with the enforcement of the hallās rules, particularly the prohibition of outside food and drink. These rules are clearly stated both in the announcements and on signs at the entrance, yet they are often ignored. A few weeks ago, a group of ladies brought in outside food and drinks. When the snack bar attendant informed them of the policy, Cindy, the cashier, instructed one of the women to disregard the staff memberās request. This groupās disregard for the rules has continued, and just last night, they brought in even more food and drinks, sharing it with other players. When confronted again, they continued to ignore the rules, and soon after, the snack bar closed. To make matters worse, Shari, who must have been in charge at the time, made an announcement encouraging players to bring in outside food and drink because the snack bar had closed. As I stood in line, I overheard her speaking very loudly to someone else, saying, āThis acting is ridiculous, and someoneās going to get fired.ā Given the circumstances, I find Shariās behavior unprofessional. Iāve seen her yell at players on Sundays, and when she worked in the snack bar, she was often hostile toward customers. Iāve raised this issue with the Saturday group, but was told nothing could be done. Itās incredibly disappointing to see this kind of behavior go unchecked. Unfortunately, after these ongoing issues with rule enforcement and the unprofessional conduct Iāve witnessed, I no longer feel comfortable attending Bingo Planet on Sundays. Itās a shame, as Iāve always enjoyed the game, but these problems have made it difficult to continue as a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate 6/2025: Iām not sure what happened but I attended last Friday night 6/6 and I was not impressed. All of the wonderful volunteers we loved so much were gone. I missed Robin & Jessica calling bingo. They made it so much fun! They were the nicest group of volunteers and it just wasnāt the same sadly. I will not be returning on a Friday evening. Last night I went to Longmont to play bingo and there were a number of Loveland people there playing bingo and they all said the new folks running it are not friendly and the atmosphere is not the same. There arenāt many sessions to choose from anymore since they closed Thursday and Friday noon and everyone is speculating the hall is closing down. The teds have been an issue for quite some time as well as their entire system and the hall managers are constantly having to come and fix them for the groups. Thatās too bad because everyone was so nice and the hall was looking better than ever. Iāve come to this hall for over 10 years with the exception of a few years during the pandemic and have made so many friends here. š¢
Original Post: I havenāt been here in a few years and boy has it changed for the better! The hall has been updated, the snack bar is much better and everyone was so pleasant. I was hesitant to return as it used to be run down and the people werenāt very nice but that certainly has changed. We went last Friday night and had a wonderful time. The snack bar pricing is reasonable, good options (the burgers and the fresh made salads with homemade ranch were amazing). The bingo pricing was good and the games were fun. I will definitely be returning every...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām writing as a long-time supporter and frequent attendee of the Loveland bingo hall. My friends and I have regularly played 3ā5 times a week and travel from Timnath because weāve truly enjoyed the welcoming environment and the wonderful staff who made Friday evenings so special.
However, weāve been disappointed by the recent closures on Thursday and Friday afternoons and the noticeable changes on Friday evenings. The atmosphere has changed significantlyāsome of the friendly staff and engaging callers who made the nights so enjoyable and exciting are no longer there, and the experience feels less inviting overall.
We will start going to Greeley, which isnāt our preference, but we feel like we no longer have a choice. Itās disheartening because we genuinely liked supporting the Loveland hall and its groups. Iām not sure what prompted these changes, but they seem to be having a negative impact on the community and attendance.
I hope youāll consider this feedback seriously, as it comes from a place of genuine appreciation for what the Loveland hall has meant to us...
