Orchards Shopping Center — Local services in Loveland

This whole parking lot is an accessibility nightmare for people using wheelchairs and mobility aids. There are no sidewalks that lead into the shopping center from either Buchanan or 29th, which are the two main thoroughfares. Additionally, there are VERY few sidewalks on the property, with most of them being random segments that don’t really lead anywhere. This means that if you’re at the Petco and you need to reach the UCHealth medical center, you are forced to use your wheelchair in the roadways, among traffic. This is a place I unfortunately have to frequent, and it’s honestly one of the most dangerous shopping centers for wheelchair users I have ever encountered. The parking lot is poorly laid out and hazardous. It's a nice King Soopers and at least the front end employees are nice. The Ace Hardware is the most unfriendly Ace I've ever been to. I have gone there twice and the only person working there that was cheerful was the fellow in the gun department. I will never go back to this Ace and when I need something when I'm in Loveland, I'll go out of my way and buy what I need at Home Depot or Lowes. Maybe they should go to the Downtown Ace in Ft Collins for training on how to treat every customer like they are valued, not just regulars...
