I have eaten here several times and the food is decent for Colorado but the service is very poor. I prefer the sushi from other places in town, but this is a convenient option which is walkable downtown.
Eating in, the service was not terribly good, but okay. I would have expected better service in the restaurant since it was the dinner hour and we were the only customers in the restaurant. We had to get the attention of the waitress to order, to get refills on water, to pay, etc. It seems to be primarily a takeout place, but unfortunately trying to order online using mobile is a nightmare.
I tried to order online tonight, put in their 20%OFF coupon code and ensured that I met the criteria ($20 order, ordering online) and it said that I cannot use the coupon, with no reason, and had no option to remove the coupon. I tried emptying the cart and trying it all again but the coupon was still attached and it still wouldn't let me place the order. Finally I called the restaurant and asked for help with ordering from their website, or if they couldn't, to place the order over the phone.
The lady I spoke to was SO rude. She told me that the coupon wasn't valid (it is still on their website) then she told me that she couldn't honor their coupon on the phone. Then she asked if I could place it on the website... 15 minutes of trying and it was the same error. So I asked to place an order without the coupon and she said that she couldn't, that I had to order online "but you only have 2 minutes left." I told her it was still not working and the error I was getting and she said "I KNOW it works because other people ordered." Okay, well, I guess they don't need my business.
Needless to say, the website still didn't work, I was not able to order, and I will not be back. Yet they are still publishing the non-working coupon. It is understandable that a small business has website issues, but it is totally unnecessary to be so rude to customers when you cannot even take an order...
Read moreAtrocious establishment. Overpriced domestics ($7+), refusing to pay worker’s wages and tips, and buying “good” reviews with free food and drinks——(and what is that employee review? This isn’t glass door!) None of it makes sense and morally and financialIy I can not recommend this business to anyone. Terrible, Costco menu priced like a 4 star establishment. ( & gnats galore!)
From the one of the owners: “If you do not remove your bad review that's try to discredit our business I will let the cop call you. After I come back from my Thailand Trip All my cash was lost while you guys are working here at sushi rito. Any explanation? Or you can explain to the cop.“
Extortion, falsification of a crime, and harassment. Absolutely a stain on the town.
Edit: Took them 5 months but they finally paid me what I was owed to save face.
The owners are as fake as their food.
And no, I’d have never stolen money, there’s no reason I’d take the less than $100 in their register—-police are standing by to follow up on this restaurant’s...
Read moreIt was alright. The vibe of the restaurant feels a bit bare, has modern fast food vibes inside, but with slow food prices. The music is over a decade old, not on brand at all for the restaurant- and the front door was left open for about a half an hour when temp was mid-40s. The sushi is overpriced, we each got the sushi burrito and while it was good and i would* eat it again, it was not filling. Did not fill me up, half the size of a chipotle burrito and for $18. For that price there should be some sort of a side included or larger portion, otherwise it was not a full meal. There were no descriptions on the menu, everything was crammed together line by line and they dont have a drink menu. Despite the bar not yet being open there still could have been a list of alternative options. Would not return to dine in unless the vibe&music improved, and the prices better reflected...
