Church Street Cafe — Restaurant in Lowell

I've gone here in the morning time during the week and I've also experienced their "African Nights" on the weekends. Let me tell you, wow. Breakfast was good. I ate scrambles eggs with toast, sausage and potatoes. The owner was kind and very helpful and made you feel welcome. "African Night" hit the spot. The ladies that helped me were so kind as well and respectful and very detailed. I got the Fufu with the goat stew, and this is my favorite. Also had their Banku with okra stew it was new and delicious. I grabbed some Jollof Rice as well with beef. My kids ate it so quickly. They were very kind, very helpful, and explained everything so well to make sure we enjoyed the food the best way possible. It was such a great experience. I can't wait to experience more. Probably one of the dirtiest restaurants I've seen in Lowell. The man was very nice/attentive, but used the same spatula he was using for my meal to clean between the serving tray crevices. Black mold and grime on the back wall, glass was filthy, mold in the salsa/lettuce, overflowing trash can. Paid for my food and threw it away in the trash bins...
