Five Guys — Restaurant in Lower Merion Township

Just wanted to write a review for the absolutely fantastic customer service I just witnessed from this location. Busy lunch rush and the lady in front of me could not have BEEN crabbier. Watching her order being made like a hawk, demanding things be just so, leering over the sneeze guard in a huff. Even made the staff make her strawberry milkshake over again because it "wasn't pink enough" ( stuff made with real ingredients isn't technicolor, but that's besides the point.) Even I felt like flinging fries at her at a certain point! Not these guys. Amazing professionalism on display. Quickly and courteously handled, polite to the nth degree, even when the recipient was ungracious and rude. Even apologized to ME for the wait ( there wasn't much of one at all.) Kudos to the whole working staff, I hope every customer realizes what...

I usually go to the Broomall location, a total 5/5. I only came here because I felt guilty about forgetting my Visa while taking my son to our usual spot for lunch earlier that day.....most awkward situation. I thought I would surprise him, worst decision ever. The buns were cold, burgers cold and dry, cheese not melted, fries soggy and greasy....like everything that could go wrong went wrong. I noticed a girl come from behind the counter and carelessly drag the same dry rag over each table, doing nothing but spreading viruses and bacteria at most. Total stomach turner. This was also my husband's first time there and he was most unimpressed. I felt like such a jerk because it was the biggest disappointment ever after I raved about how wonderful 5 Guys is. I'm not typically one to leave bad reviews but I've given this location too many chances. Every time I have ordered for pick up I've had to wait inside for at least 15 minutes and often longer, even when I wait a half hour or so after ordering, and you're always crammed in with ten or so other people also waiting on pickup orders. When you finally get your food the burger is cold and hastily thrown together, I've gotten ones with the toppings almost completely off the burger. I kept going back thinking they were just busy and eventually I'd catch them on a good day, but nope. Last time I went to this location I got the worst food poisoning in my recent memory. It sucks because I love five guys and this is the only location that's convenient for me to go to... But I'm still never...
