SUPER RUDE STAFF - I arrived at this place on City Line Avenue at around 3 PM on December 30th 2021. The man across the front desk near the ovens yelled before I even approached the counter something about having no whole chickens. I asked him again since I didn't hear exactly what he said and with total agitation and anger said that there area no chickens for me - I came up with a few coupons so I suppose they knew exactly what I wanted? Fine. I asked the girl at the counter how long the wait time is for two chickens - she said 20 minutes. I politely said I'll wait. About 3 minutes passed and they packed two whole chickens for me, just like that! I have no idea what the other guy was on about or why he was so angry. My total was around $7 and change, so I gave the girl a $20. She muttered in frustration that I need to pay exact change AFTER I paid. I said I will pay with a card, no problem. She - with total irritation (why?) counted a bunch of crumpled dollars and gave them to me. I counted and there were $10. They short changed me $2. I asked if they can give me the rest. She told me to move aside as some other customers were approaching. So I stood there like an idiot. Then the super rude guy by the stove asked what I was waiting for. I said I'm waiting for change. She finally got a few dollars from another customers and threw them at me.
Listen - if you HATE your job like these two people - don't work in customer service. How about that? This is one of the rudest experiences I had in one of these restaurants - both people should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY. No questions asked. Read moreI wish I would have read the reviews before I spent my money. I made an online order today at 4:48pm and waited almost an hour and a half for the flavorless garbage I received! I ordered a chicken and meatloaf meal, creamed spinach, sweet potatoes and mac and cheese, everything was flavorless. The creamed spinach wasn't even creamed, it was undercooked and watery, the sweet potatoes had small marshmallows just sitting on top, the mac and cheese was flavorless, im not exaggerating! The chicken was also flavorless and looked dry, but the meat loaf was ok. I called and spoke with the manager, I asked her what happened to the food, did yall change ingredients, she said it's the same ingredients as always, obviously not, if you're getting so many negative reviews. She claims i can get a refund for the food if I bring the platters back, but I threw mine in the trash and my son ate the meatloaf from his. She also said, I can get a refund from the doordash company that delivered, we'll see. Im calling corporate on Monday! Two platters, delivery fees, taxes and tip was $50.00. For the money I paid and the food i received, was not worth it and they sent the food in a white container, not even the normal black/with the clear lid containers they used to have. I had 2 red flags that I ignored. #1 all the Rotisserie ovens were off and clean. #2 the guy at meat station questioned my "uncut" request. At home found a leg had been sliced from chicken and it was the Worst Dry Bird I had ever gotten from Boston Market! I got this food as a treat for my 97 yo mother for our dinner. I called Boston market and complained. Manager said she would issue a credit but normally require food be returned. I expressed my appreciation for the no-hassle refund of $30+ to be made to my credit card. I am sure she remembered which customer I was. Going back to the store that evening wasn't an option, because I have difficulty driving at night. So since the refund was coming, I would not post a negative review.
