QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Lower Merion Township

I placed a pickup order at this location last week. I purposely arrived a little later than my desired pickup time because I know it can be busy at dinner. I stood by the register along with a few others just waiting to be acknowledged by anyone. I see two bags on the counter behind the cash register. I tried to read the names but the receipts were facing away.

Why is the pickup order process so confusing? Most places have a pickup section or one person in charge of them. I finally ask an employee about my order since he seems to be doing pickup orders. I gave him my name and showed my phone.

He said my order is coming up and will be ready soon. I sit and wait for around 30-35 minutes for my name to be called. After the line goes through multiple times and every single other customer getting their pickup orders, despite coming in way after me, I tried to ask again about my order.

Some random employee walks out and reads the names off the two bags that were sitting there from the beginning that I couldn’t examine. Sure enough, it’s mine. We leave and of course there is no chips or queso that we purchased.

We start driving and then have to come back and had to sit in line to get queso and chips even though the employees knew we had a pickup order and obviously something was missing.

No sorry or apology or any speed in the service to get us chips and queso that we were missing. We had to wait for everyone else. The pickup order guy wouldn’t even look at us. It was really embarrassing.

-why did the pickup guy lie? If not lying, why not check the two bags next to you to be sure????? -why read off the pickup order names every 35 minutes?? -why not let people look at the bags??

Basically don’t be afraid to go behind the cash register to read the names because you might get missed. Probably won’t return as this was 85 minutes spent in the store on an order placed in advance lmao.

Update: Qdoba reached out and told me to email them with a case number. Still waiting on...

I'm deeply saddened in my experience with this establishment yesterday. I was a frequent customer of this location because of superb service and staff. Well this is not the case anymore with the new staff and manager. Starting with the food line, it is not immaculate as it use to be, employees leaning over your food as it is being made. The cashier had an issue understanding the order to ring up, but did not express confusion but anger and stormed away from the register without a word for a few minutes. Once cashier emerged she was accompanied by manager Tyquan, both with attitudes. When asked about pricing and portions, Manager Tyquan could not provide answers and instead became aggressive. Tyquan is not equipped to deal with customers, inquires, or feedback. He should not be leading a team especially with employee Timothy who lunged at a woman to hit her and Tyquan encouraging this action. Tyquan proceeded to call the police to remove myself and two other woman (with me) from the establishment because he could not communicate to customers The only good person was General Manger Fabiola and I'm sorry she had to bear witness to the most egregious acts of this staff. I am disheartened and caution you all to not ask questions and only accept what's given to you at this...

Please Someone call the Health Department, i don't know where to begin. Im dining in the evening There , its late almost 8 pm Saturday evening just 2 days ago,, I Am a Tea Drinker and chose to have sweet tea, Well when walking to the tea station, by the looks of things something just told me to take a peak under the lid before pouring my cup. I pulled the lids Up And this is what i was greeted with. I'm so thankful the universe made me wanna check. I Immediately Reported what i seen to the manager in charge of shift, His name was Francisco.P, He seemed very upset with me for pointing out this issue and wanting it fixed. very rude young ROUND kid, Seem about early 20s, I asked if Fresh tea could be made and i was told it was too late. Tbh He Seemed like he just really didnt care about the issue at all and just wanted to go home. i Settled with a coke but, it was very lousy service from the moment i walked in the door. Im Positive no one likes to clean there much, if this is what the Tea Station looks like, im sure there are mice and bugs and other Health Violations all around, SOMEBODY CHECK THIS PLACE...
