While out shopping we were looking for a breakfast/lunch stop and found up-RYES was nearby. The Hungry Jack sounded amazing to me (I got it without the aioli), my wife had the Brisket biscuit, and we each ordered a bagel (all to-go.) The good: the Hungry Jack was amazing. Really don't know what to say. Eggs were just right, it was loaded, but not messy, spicy tomato jam was delicious, and the Challah bun was light, but held together. (I gave the biscuit a try which was also good, but I preferred my sandwich). The "eh": I'll take this as a bit of my fault. We got home, unpacked the bag, and it was missing my bagel. Hindsight is I should have checked before leaving, but I was disappointed. At $2, I'm glad it was my plain bagel that got missed and not one of the sandwiches. I'd wish we found this place sooner. Highly recommend the sandwiches, and I'd still like to try the bagels since they looked good (and my wife liked hers.)

First time Here . Wasn’t sure what to expect. We went in around 1 pm and it was pretty busy. (Always a great sign) there were people outside on the front patio eating and laughing. It has a pretty nice menu and the people were very friendly working even though they were busy. We ordered a schooly and a brisket sandwich. Both were moist and plentiful. We got a lot for the money, which is totally unusual for anyplace in Bryn mawr. Great location and huge parking lot across the street. Will def not be our last time there. I recommend this quaint restaurant. Update. We stopped in again to have breakfast. lol at the omelette! Pretty damn good. Once again great bagel, especially coming from a Brooklynite. The Latka was good as well.

Portions are great, the coffee is nice. I waited about 30 mins for my Super Nova bagel. After 25 mins I noticed that everyone that ordered after me, got their food orders, and thought I saw my name at the service window so I asked if mine were ready and the girl that was helping me with that was being told to 'man up and tell customers to be patient' and as I walked away the older lady shouts 'we are backed up on grubhub orders you need to just wait' I fully understand that but I was asking a simple yes or no question, not a sob story. After 5 mins I got my Super Nova and it was burnt. The taste of the burnt everything bagel, ruined the bagel.

Up-Ryes Bagel & Deli is an exceptional spot, thanks to the incredible service provided by Debbie, Qwan, and James. These fantastic individuals consistently go above and beyond, making each visit a delightful experience. Not only do they know my order by heart, but their dedication to customer satisfaction truly sets this place apart. If you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere and staff who take customer service to the next level, Up-Ryes Bagel & Deli is the place to be!

Adding to the allure, the bagels are nothing short of extraordinary. Each bite is a symphony of flavors that instantly transports me to the bustling streets of NYC. These bagels boast the perfect balance of a crispy exterior and a delightfully chewy interior, reminiscent of the true, authentic New York City bagel experience. I placed my order on their website for a bagel sandwich at 8:47 with their app saying to come pick up the order at 9:20. I got there at 9:15 and went to the place in the store that says pickup for online orders. I waited until 9:30 and my order was not ready. I then went to the front of the store asking for the status of my order, and they had my sandwich made place behind the counter. I asked when the order was completed since their app told me to come in at 9:20 to pickup the order and I did not get any text updates to come early, and the order was made at 9:00. So not only was my order made 20 minutes earlier than told, which made my eggs cold, but also wasnt placed at the location stated at the store for pickup, and had a mediocre cold bagel sandwich. Despite the consistent bad service, the bagels are the best in the area, so I used to sacrifice service for food quality, but it would be foolish to...
