We ordered one of the entree platters that was listed as feeding 2-3 people. It included ribs, sausage, and slaw, and then we had the option to pick 2 more meats and 2 more sides. We picked pulled pork + brisket for the meats, and mac & cheese + collard greens for the sides. After a short wait, we were brought the tray shown in the picture. There were 3 barbecue sauces - house, a strawberry habanero, and an espresso infused (sorry to Up in Smoke if I got those wrong!). *Everything* was even better than I was expecting it to be, and I had high hopes already based on a co-worker telling me his whole family loved the food. I would say my two favorite from the meats were the ribs (great flavor and perfect tenderness), and the sausage, which is probably some of the best I've ever had. From the sides, the slaw was amazing (very little mayo, nice thickness on the veggies, and the perfect amount of tang), and the mac & cheese. We ate enough for dinner that night that we were full, but still had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. I have a Weber Smokey Mountain charcoal smoker that I use about once a month. I thought I was getting pretty good results from it, but my trip here proves that I still have a lot of catching up to do! The two guys working there (I'm pretty sure were the owners - I don't think I caught their names) were also super friendly. The inside of the store was very clean, and a great environment for a BBQ place! We're definitely looking forward to coming back in the future! Thanks a lot for a great meal!

Id give a higher star rate if I could this place is amazing got that competition style rib that doesn't just fall off the bone got a little bite to it with a beautiful char under it and a nice dark on top lightly tecked up with there house sauce and rub smoked to perfection and the beef sandwich was amazing like a clasic roast beef but BBQ style with a great horse radish sauce don't skip out on the sides very unique corn bread using maza got a taste like corn tortilla but fluffy as a pillow the baked beans were puch in your mouth flavorful same for the greens the guys working were amazing made me feel like I was at a bodies cook out instead of a resterant can't wait to try there other meats and hose bacon and ham. Been all over the USA Texas Carolinas Kansas Washington Florida eating BBQ this place is in my top 3 and that's saying a lot to the quality flavor and service must try best bbq in PA

Simply a must stop if you're within a 100 miles! They have it all; brisket, pulled pork, one-of-a-kind coleslaw, and mac & cheese all top notch! Brisket flavor is mouth watering, the smoke ring is elevated, and the pull was perfection. Pulled pork was incredibly tender, ribbons of flavor and fit for a king. Mac & Cheese is cheezy and the penne pasta foundation was surrounded by a nice parmesean enhanced white cheese. And the final gotcha is the one-of-a-kind coleslaw. The flavors and texture were unmatched and keep you wanting more. This family owned and operated store front takes you to their kitchen table. Specialities we'll be back for (on Saturdays) lobster rolls, pork belly and burnt ends. @GuyFieri come on down, submitted as a Triple D Hot Spot! #DinersDriveInsandDives

This used to be my absolute favorite spot in Harrisburg. Incredible food, and kind owners. But recently the owners have been taking on other responsibilities (which I’m not critiquing). What I am critiquing is how awful the service has become, as the kids they’ve hired can barely get through the orders. I watched them scrambling to prepare two sandwiches for over 30 minutes while people were waiting to even place their orders for about half of that time. Another person came in for a pickup order that he claimed he placed 25 mins ago, and they hadn’t even started working on it by the time he was there. Another group of three even left after noticing how long it would be if they stayed to put in an order.

Furthermore, the quality of the meat (particularly the brisket) has just gone down substantially. I used to always take people here when they were visiting from out of town, and they’d always be very impressed by how good the food was. Now though, I’d be embarrassed to show them this food. Dry brisket with a chunk of chewy fat taking up a third of each slice. I really wonder what happened here.

It’s so upsetting to lose my favorite spot. Hopefully the owners will notice and step in again to correct the issues. Until then, there are other options in the area - not as good as this place once was, but substantially better than where this...
