Eagle Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Lower Paxton Township

Stopped in last Friday. It was close to 8 pm so it was clearing out so we sat at the bar. Drink and food orders are taken by a nice bartender. The food was excellent. Our service went down very quickly. I could understand if it was crowded but it was not. Two people to my right at the bar and eventually two couples came in and sat to our left. My drink glass and water glass and my girlfriend's wine glass are all empty sitting at the edge of the bar. Never asked if we needed anything. Pushed empty plates to the edge and still no response. 1 to 3 employees would come behind the bar but none of them would look our way. The two couples to our left must have been regulars as the one employee was just talking with them. Finally flag down someone to bring our check. Bill was $50.31. I always pay and my girlfriend always leaves a hefty tip of around 50%. We appreciate the service. Put my card with the bill at the edge of the bar. My girlfriend puts $25 on the bar. Now the waiting begins. After almost 10 minutes she says I'm just going to leave $20. I said yes this is crazy and I could use some water to drink. Waited another 5 minutes and she took $10 away. Waited for more and $5 bucks was taken away. We can't get anyone's attention. I finally stand up and put my coat on. Stand another 5 minutes. My girlfriend goes through her purse and comes up with the total $51. I take my card and we leave. I don't think we have ever done that. I would have been compelled to leave a tip on my card since my girlfriend took the cash away but it would not have been much. I have never seen it be so obvious that we were out of drinks and never be asked if we...

Tonight I ordered water, spaghetti with extra sauce, and Parmesan cheese. After I ordered, the server asked if I wanted something to drink and I said just the water. She said Oh, you want water? Yeah. I ordered water. I got the spaghetti. I didn't get the garlic bread that's supposed to come with it. When she gave it to me, she asked me if I wanted cheese and I said yes, again, I ordered water, spaghetti with extra sauce, and lots of parmesan. The server did not give me a fork to eat with. I had to ask for it. When I was halfway done she said Oh, and then went into the kitchen and brought me the extra sauce. My drink sat empty for quite a while. When she finally came over I just asked for my check. She handed me the check and I sat there with my debit card and the check in my hand while she mopped the floor. I will go back. I will never be served...

Went here for dinner.. my better half ordered a baked potato with veggies and cheese. It came out (after an eternity) and had bacon on it. The server was asked if this is bacon and the server replied probably.. that's what they put on it. We sent it back and right back out it came with bacon still deep inside of it. They just picked off the bacon on the top. So another order for the same thing... been here quite over an hour. And when it was finally out the server stated that the cooks are Egyptian and don't understand much English... why would you employ those who can't read food orders written in English?? Respect people if they are vegan which our server was informed of at the time we ordered. Not going back until things improve drastically here. People just going through the motions not really concerned with what their function is...
