Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lower Providence Township

Sometimes it’s good but honestly this past experience was pretty terrible. The customer service was TERRIBLE. Maybe they were having a bad day but jeez. My fiancé asked for a large queso on the side multiple times but apparently the lady servicing us decided to just put it on his bowl. When I asked him to make sure he wanted it on the side he said yes I wanted it on the side out loud. She heard him and just stared at him. When we got to the register I asked if he got his large side of queso and she tries to charge us for another one. And that’s when I finally asked why did you put it on his bowl he asked for it on the side multiple times and she goes I didn’t hear him. :/ Not only that but I got a salad like I always do and they decide to tell me at the very end they don’t have the vinaigrette. If they would have told me sooner I wouldn’t have gotten the salad. It’s 2:00 PM on a Sunday way past lunch rush. But no offense you should have your stuff together. The customer service was terrible. We both have worked in a restaurant setting so we understand how things can get because of that we normally don’t say anything. If I could give this place a 0 stars I would. The people that work here are MISERABLE. My husband has worked 10 years in the service industry and I 5 years. We understand having a bad day or mean customers making you have a bad day. I have experienced a handful of bad service in general, but this chipotle is the worst yet. My husband gets the most SIMPLE meal ever! Brown rice, Chicken, Sour cream, and cheese. he tips every time! But this time the worker decided to huff and puff in my husbands face the whole time. All because my husband asked for extra rice and didn’t want honey whatever chicken he just wanted regular which they were out of. THEY HAD AN HOUR TILL CLOSE WHY ARE YOU OUT OF CHICKEN. My best advice to corporate is to stop hiring these young CHILDREN and start food prepping better. Side note yes my husband did get upset with the employee but only after he got disrespected. this all could have been avoided but these workers are just too damn lazy! Mcdonald’s has better service...

We showed up a full hour before close. They ran out of white rice and there was a lady who was putting chairs up at 10:08 so that possible patrons couldn't sit and eat. When I attempted to ask the guy behind the counter how to get into the restroom, he cut me off mid-sentence with his sassy little answer. After that as my wife and I waited for the rice to finish cooking, we watched the other counter guy scrape all the vegetables off the counter. The vegetables sat there on the counter while the other guy rolled a burrito right next to the pile of old dirty vegetable scrapings. Will never come back to this location.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the sassy guy got upset when a group of customers came in while we were ordering. He started throwing and slamming the pans back in the cooling system. He was trying to clean everything up and get out of there I guess, but the new customers threw a monkey wrench in his operation. His coworkers looked so nervous and...
