I grew up in Jersey and have been going to wawa for as long as I can remember. With that being said this is by far the worst Wawa that I have ever been to. I stopped here on 11/10/20 around 8:30pm. My daughter & I ordered 2 classic (10 inch) hoagies. My sister ordered a shortie (6 inch) hoagie. When the guy gave us our sandwiches I immediately thought he made my daughter & I the wrong size because it was only about an inch taller than my sisters. I advised him of this and he tried to say that it was the classic & that my sisters looked like the same size because of the wrapper. Annoyed I just left. While driving, we ended up talking to my nephew on the phone who said he also wanted a Wawa's hoagie, so we ended up stopping at another Wawa's just 5 mins from the first. This one was on W Main, off of Trooper rd in Norristown. My nephew got the same thing as my daughter and I, a classic (10 inch). When we were given his hoagie, immediately I noticed that his sub was the correct size, so we measured it along side ours and sure enough, his was about 3 inches taller. We got back in the car & drove back to the first Wawa on Trooper rd. As soon as I walked up to the counter I said to the guy who originally waited on us, that I knew that this was a situation for a manager so I needed to speak with one. He said "well what's the problem"? like he was the manager. I told him the same thing that I had said to him the first time...The hoagie size is incorrect. I even showed him the 10 inch hoagie we got from the 2nd Wawa. This nut really tried to say that they were the same size like I can't see or like I didn't work at Subway for 6 years during my teens and I know the difference between 6 inches, 12 inches, 10 inches or even 4. I asked him if he needed me to buy him a ruler. Finally the manager comes & I explained what happened. He offered to make our sandwiches correctly but guess what???? All of their so called 10 inch rolls were only about 7 inches, so he apologizes and says he can't do nothing about that, it's their shipment and gave me my money back. My problem isssss.....that's false advertisement!!! Those rolls shouldn't be sold. It would be different if Wawa just called there large hoagie a classic & didn't give a specific size but that's not the case! Wawa's advertises that a classic is 10 inches, shortie is 6 inches and a junior is 4, then give me what I paid for and not just me everybody!!! And I really don't need some smart aleck, still on similac trying to tell me 7 inches is 10. Oh and by the way, the second Wawa on Main street said that they always get customers that come from the Wawa on Trooper rd, to them with the same complaint. I guess I'm not the only one who knows how to measure. Hint..hint..Wawa on Trooper rd in Jeffersonville, buy you some real 10 inch rolls...
Read more(This review is based purely on my BLT sandwich quality over the past 7 months, everything else at store is fine. Gas pumps work and there are alot, next to other food, clean bathrooms, nice customer service) Had to literally put down my sandwich to write this review, moved here recently and was at first saddened by the sandwiches this wawa was making so I stopped going from Feb-Now. Last, Saturday i was craving my classic BLT last week, got one, and it was fire. Literally makes me smile just thinking about it 😭 I was traveling the past week in Florida and went to wawa everyday HOPING. PRAYING. Id get a sandwich that good again. And they were wrong. ALL WRONG. I got home today, and I ran, not walked to this wawa hoping to get a BLT like before. I was chasing the dream ya know. And thank god I did, best choice ever. Its perfect. The ratios on sauce, Perfect. Bacon? Perfect. (Its crisp but not hard or soggy) Vegetables? Yup. Perfect. 🧎♀️🧍😎 Listen, to whoever is making the sandwiches on Saturday nights thank you, i appreciate you. Youre...
Read moreI stopped in tonight to order a chicken steak to-go. (Order 653) I was given a chicken salad to-go. My order was beyond incorrect. I called the store and the attendant asked if I'd like to have my order remade. Out pettiness I drove back and spent more money for gas to get the original sandwich which should have been made correctly the first time. When I arrived with the incorrect sandwich the deli attendant asked me to keep the incorrect sandwich. I said no, and that I didnt want it. He then asked me if I could give it to a homeless person near me. The fact that he asked that raises soo many red flags Im in awe. I cant believe one of your staff members asked a guest to violate a ServSafe standard. From this experience my advice is re-train staff, follow Food Safety Guidelines, read tickets, be hospitable and learn the fine art of the apology. I will be following up with your corporate office as the experience I had tonight crossed enough boundaries most restaurants would...
