On our way home we decided to stop by mike's for just a small snack before getting on the ferry but, when we walked in and smelled the fresh cooking chicken and fish my mouth watered. Mike cooked my a piece of grouper w/fries that was amazing and my girlfriend had a cheesesteak with fresh peppers, onions and lettuce that was to die for. I urge you don't pass this jem by. Ridiculously light and crispy outside, tender, moist, perfectly cooked inside, not greasy at all. Needed salt but that's easily remedied. Corned beef on rye was almost perfect. Hot to order, perfectly toasted buttered rye bread, spicy mustard, melty swiss cheese; just needed sauerkraut for perfection. Also the fries were great! Light, crispy, tender.
