If I could give zero starts I would. We came with a party of 7 and we had the worst experience with Cara as our waitress. We walked in and asked for a table of 7 and the host went to set up our table and just pointed and said your table is ready go find it. We found out table with only 1 basket of chips and 1 red and green salsa. When asked the waitress for additional chips and salsa our waitress Cara rolled out eyes and came back and threw them on the table. We asked if we could order drinks gave us attitude and walked off before we were done speaking. And that was the last we saw of her until we finally hunted her down so we could order food. Proceeded to roll her eyes and cut off each person that was speaking. Never came back to ask if we needed refills, if our cold good was ok. The guacamole was brown and looked like it had been sitting out. She stayed hidden in the office with the manager, and never came back to our table. We waited over 30 minutes to get our checks to be able to leave, and had to go to the bar area to get our own to go boxes. We finally got our checks and there was gratuity already included on our checks, which explains why she was extremely rude and not attentive. We asked to speak to the manager(the one who she was hidden in the office with) and he laughed at us and said she is the best waitress they have... If rolling eyes and cutting off customers as they are talking is the best waitress then casa ole really has gone down hill! If you want bad service with cold food and no refills then casa ole is the place to go they are serving it on a silver platter, and the manager apparently praises...

We usually end up going to this restaurant three or four times a year when we go through Lufkin to Houston. Each time we go, it is worse. This time was definitely the last time we will ever eat there. We were greeted by a girl who didn't even smile or speak with us except to ask how many. We were brought a basket of chips and only one bowl of green sauce and one bowl of salsa for two of us, and the bowls weren't even full. Our waitress was okay, but didn't really go to much trouble. It was lunch time on a Sunday, and I ordered the lunch enchiladas. She asked if I was okay with the $5.00 "upcharge", and I asked what that was for. She said it was because it wasn't a weekday (?). My cheese enchiladas were horrible, and that Velveeta queso they have is disgusting. The food was the worst I've ever had there, and this time I got sick afterward. When we got ready to leave I asked for a to-go cup to pour my tea into, and she brought me a toddler sized cup - photo attached. It took forever to check out, as the girl at the register was completely inept. For two people to have lunch, it was almost $40 and it wasn't even good food. As I said, this is our last visit.

EDIT: Your apology means nothing as I have read through all the reviews and seen almost the same apology on every bad review. Obviously nothing ever changes or I wouldn't find reviews complaining of the same things I had...

The evening manager is Extremely rude. A guest in our party found toothpicks rolled up INSIDE her flautas! Not just stuck through them, as to hold them together, but INSIDE them. We brought it to the managers attention, as it was a MAJOR safety concern, and just wanted him to be aware of the situation. Before I could even finish my sentence, he was quick to say "I'll just take it off the ticket!" I tried to explain to him that we weren't asking for that, but we were generally concerned about the safety and well being of other guests. As we were nearing the end of our visit, rather close to closing time, he came back to the table and started clearing our plates, and even tried to take a plate that my friend was still eating off of. I tried to bring up the flautas again, and he said "Dont worry about it, we need to wrap this up and get the checks out so we can get out of here!"... excuse me?!? As a former food service worker, for almost 20 years, I realize that at the end of the day, you're ready to get out of there. It's frustrating when customers are there that close to closing time. But its not like we came in, sat down and ordered at closing time. We got there at 9:45, Over an Hour before closing time! The food has been "decent" the last few times I've been, and our server wasn't Terrible, but the manager definitely wasn't friendly, and there were toothpicks inside the...
