EDIT 2: I ended up getting in touch with the district manager and he gave me the contact info I needed. Was simple in the end. Remote was covered under warranty by the manufacture of the bed. The remote is made by some company in China. Apparently they also make remotes that are used in hospitals and a whole host of other places. They did actually respond to my email a week after I sent one. Yes I did initially try the terrible options I was first given. At the end of the day it took the DM stepping in and getting me taken care of. He was amazing. Much thanks :) Nathan on the other hand... I simply cannot change my initial review of his service. Review is left as it was initially posted below this. I still feel he was absolutely horrible. My dad bought a bed from him pretty recently and he loved the experience. To each their own. I will say at first I loved my experience also.... Not until I had issues is when I got upset with the service. In sales and customer service you simply must take care of the customer. He did not understand that. He simply wanted to make me go away as fast as possible. But in the end I now have a working remote :)
Bought a 6k mattress and adjustable frame.... Roughly 6 months later remote for frame quits working.... Go into the store and speak with "Nathan" and after a little back and forth he suggest I take a picture of his computer screen showing contact info for a company in CHINA that apparently made the remote. So he wants me to contact someplace in literally CHINA... I dont even know how to call china... much less paying for said call.... lmao... really.... MY family has spent close to 20k there in the last 5 yrs or so.... And you loose us over as $20 remote????? And people wonder why I look both ways on a one way street...lol. Great job Nathan!!!!

Read moreWhen i went into the store the staff was very kind and friendly and offered great customer service i even got to try out the softest bed and oh my gosh i felt like i was laying on a cloud and i recommend everyone to go to mattress firm because they are the greatest bed store in lufkin so i would like ask everyone to help me put all the bed stores out of business accept mattress firm, Thank you Mattress Firm for being so nice and thank you for recommending one specific bed for me because now i won't have to have any back pain or face the pain of springs being inside my bed yall are fantastic and i hope yall never go out of business because you have Won me over with that one specific mattress. Plus the employee named "Caleb Engelby" that works there he was the one that i am cheering about because he is the one who i spoke to about the bed and me having back pains and tossing and turning but now i am glad i went there.

Read moreI didn't want to go into the store because 1) I was afraid of high pressure sales, and 2) I had my dog in the car with me and it was too hot to leave him in there alone. Nathan let us bring the dog in (he is clean and very well behaved, but I was really surprised). And there was no pressure whatsoever. He was very helpful and pleasant to chat with, and knowledgeable about the merchandise (I had questions about materials and number of coils). My husband and I had a great experience at Mattress Firm with Nathan. We have had continual problems with mattresses sagging in the middle. He understood exactly what I was looking for. I am scheduled for knee surgery and Nathan showed me a base which has an adjustable height. I like my current base, but it makes my bed so high, I am afraid I won't be able to get on it after surgery. I decided to get the adjustable base which also has a remote to raise and lower both the head and the foot of the bed. That will help me with my swollen ankles. I decided on a Europtop mattress that has 2 types of coils, regular coils and micro coils in the pillowtop that has great support and yet is soft enough to not cause pressure points. This store has a variety of high quality brands, and I would recommend them...
