They have those poor workers out in 103 degree weather taking orders and get mad at them for being too hot out there. They’ve already had a girl go to the ER and turns out, she was dehydrated from being out in the extreme heat, and the next day they put her right back outside in that heat. Other workers have complained of being lightheaded and vision going black due to being outside taking orders and the manager ma, Mrs Walker and Aaron in particular get angry at the worker. It’s not their fault that chic fil a doesn’t want to get the ordering menu and intercoms like every other fast food restaurant. It’s too hot to make those poor people stand out there like that. They don’t want them to take restroom breaks either. Talk down on them for needing to use the restroom. Why should they have to hold their bladders or suffer dehydration? They call it “customer service” but they treat the workers poorly and don’t care about them at all. They wouldn’t even have a business to operate if it wasn’t for the employees! Read moreI have been coming to this location for as long as I can even remember, and within the last several months, they get my order wrong literally every other time I'm there. Which is often. I've tried calling, I've brought it to management's attention, I've asked for refunds, and have gotten nowhere with them. I even had the kids ignore my phone calls one night and let the phone ring a million times back to back, after calling to ask how to get our order fixed that was delivered. This has always been the best Chickfila location I've ever been to, but now I try to go to West Lufkin Chickfila as often as I can, because they never short me or get my order wrong. As someone with food allergies, Chickfila is one of the very few options I have as far as fast food, so unfortunately I'll have to be back. This man isn’t even a manager (yet!) and he’s already doing manager things. Like??? He steps in when people are slacking, keeps his cool when the lunch rush is insane, and somehow STILL manages to be nice to literally everyone (even the customers who ask for 12 sauces for one nugget). 🙄💅
He’s the type that shows up early, stays late, and actually cares about the job, not just clocking in and out. And don’t even get me started on his work ethic. Alan doesn’t just go the extra mile, he builds the whole highway.
I’ve seen managers with less leadership in their whole body than Alan has in his pinky. Give this man a title, a headset, and some authority already. Trust me, the store would run smoother and morale would skyrocket.
