So I wanted to have a bunch of my older jewelry that I hadn’t worn in a while, and some I inherited, refurbished and remade into other jewelry that I would wear. I came to Beard’s with a bag full of different & various pieces; not at all knowing what I could do with them or how it would be designed. Scott Almand was just amazing, he helped me design & create, he inspired me. He said everything would turn out gorgeous, and said that if I got it back and didn’t like it, to please let him know, and they would do something different. Just wow, that helped my confidence because I was really nervous about breaking down older, sentimental jewelry, to make something new. But much to my surprise, I was immediately impressed when he showed me what they had done with my diamonds and gold! He has been great the whole way—calming my angst, offering me ideas and reassuring me of every change made. Will does an amazing job with re-creating and cleaning up my jewelry! We bought a ring here about 9 years ago. The service was Pleasant. We even visited with Mr. Beard and he seemed to be a really nice man. We have been taking our ring in for service and having it cleaned Periodically ever since. The Man that use to be there that cleaned and serviced it was always so helpful and always eager to satisfied our needs. Just this past week we stopped by to have them look at it and clean it. WELL the young lady they have now servicing and cleaning your Jewelry is not so pleasant! She was extremely rude and acted like she was put out with having to first look at it and then told us we would have to leave it for a week or so before she would have time to get to it. I told her I did not feel comfortable leaving it and that it would only take a few minutes to assure us everything was okay with it. Once again she act like she was put out and then called the manager over for him to tell us that she couldn’t get to it right now that she was actually on her lunch break at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon! I called yesterday and the receptionist was EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND VERY , VERY POLITE. I apologize for not remembering her name AGAIN.I'M TRULY SORRY. I had two nice fairly pricey watches that needed servicing.One, an NFL TEAM watch needed a battery and another a SOLAR POWERED SEIKO needed a bracelet adjustment. I was please when she had told me that it was no problem to come in. I was treated with absolute professionalism and kindness, I told her that when I had called and she answered the phone ..... I WAS SO TAKEN AND I WAS COMING IN DUE TO THE FACT THAT OTHER BUSINESS'S THAT I HAD CALLED WERE NOT AS FRIENDLY AS SHE HAD BEEN. THE BEARD'S STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING VERY ATTENTIVE. My 80 yrs old mother was with me and was a bit tired due to shopping all morning and the receptionist offered her to sit in the lounge and wait while they serviced my watches.
