I have to write in to tell you I had the BEST Jersey Mikes experience at store #3209. This was the first time I have ever been to this location. I live in Maryland, but I was in Florida visiting family and I stopped here for lunch on my return home. As I walk into the store, there was another customer who had just paid and was leaving, making me the only one in the store. It was nice to walk right up to the counter and place my order. India, asked me kindly what I would like to eat today. Not being a local, her southern twain was welcoming. I ordered a Portobello mushroom sub. She asked if I would like any additional toppings and when I requested jalapenos, she asked if I would want them grilled with the mushrooms/onion/peppers. I have never been asked that and I thought that was such a good idea so I did! When it came time to pay, I had enough shore points to enjoy my sub for free, so that was extremely rewarding as well. I don’t normally drink root beer, but I noticed a different (maybe local?) brand of root beer so I tried it out and it was absolutely delicious. As I was waiting for my sub, I noticed this location had covered outdoor seating, which was a pleasant surprise because I had my golden retriever with me and I know we could sit outside together. As far as the sub goes, it truly was the best tasting sub I have ever had a Jersey Mikes. The sub was just slightly soggy, which was perfect for me. Some locations I have been to the sub roll is do dry that its crunchy. And other locations, too greasy making the sub a mess to eat. The entire restaurant/bathrooms were clean, and I wish that every single Jersey Mike experience could be just like this! I am a vegetarian, so when traveling on the road, it can be challenging to find something that satisfies me as well...
Read moreSunday 12/18/21 I arrived at 8:45pm, fifteen minutes before closing. There were two female employees but no other customers. I use an app on my phone to talk as my voice is very hoarse. I have the same order every time so I was looking for it when one of the employees ask what I wanted. I didn’t see the order on my app pre-typed so I typed it in and showed it to her. She got the bread and asked if I wanted mayo. I showed her the order again. As I stated earlier, I had typed in what I wanted and showed it to her. My order was “#8 on rosemary regular only lettuce”. She asked again if I wanted mayo. For the third time I showed her the app with the order. The second employee who was standing in front of the lettuce and tomatoes said “I’ll take that as a no”. The first employee put the cheese, turkey, and ham on half of the bread and gave it to the second employee. The second employee put on the lettuce and the other half of the bread. She then cut it in half and proceeded to wrap it. I typed bacon in the app and tapped on the counter to get her attention. After she read it she said rudely “That’s what we asked you!” The “club sub is advertised to have applewood smoked bacon, ham, and turkey, mayo. Well, I chose this sub because it has the bacon otherwise I would just order a ham and turkey sub! Mayo is put on in the same area as the lettuce so if it said “only lettuce” then that must mean no mayo. Well, as I stated my voice is really hoarse. I looked at her and walked out! Common sense is not common and reading with comprehension is surely lacking in these young employees. Will not be going back to Jersey Mike’s in Lumberton any...
Read moreDid a mobile order, and was told it would be ready at 7:15. We arrived at 7:13 and checked in. After waiting for 20 minutes and watching people Arrive and go inside to order and leaving with their food, we decided to walk in. We asked for our order, to first be told they didn't know anything about it, even though I had confirmation and email. Then after the girl asked the preparers about it, they first rolled their eyes and mumbling, one stated that they had fixed it over 15 minutes ago. The girl, who looked very lost, is walking around looking for it. My husband asked the girl if the order in her hands was ours. She said no and kept walking around and then she went to walk out with the same order in her hands and she said the name McGee. My husband then stated that was the order he was looking for. She said she didn't realize that she had it in her hands. Then, there was no apologizing for the mix-up or waiting for almost 30 minutes for our food. Our sandwiches were cold and kind of lean on toppings. This was our first experience with this location, and it was extremely different than the one in Wilson location. We got the same sandwiches there and they were really good and the staff were really nice and courteous. Really disappointed in...
