I was really looking forward to trying this local place since supporting local businesses is really important to me. However, I will not be returning. The girl was very nice, but I found it odd that a donut place didn’t offer basic donuts like glazed and chocolate donuts. The employee informed me those are offered only on certain days. As with the rest of the community, I was so sad when MaMa Crockett's closed. While this place is not MaMa Crockett's, it is still amazing - and that's what I love about them. Hill City is very much their own product and brand. They don't try to be somebody else, they don't try to replace a previous company. They are their own, and I love that. What a phenomenal find!!!!! Great coffee- both hot and iced- as well as donuts made fresh to order in a variety of flavors. They even have gluten free days (certain days because they change the frier oil as well as a gluten free doughnut mixture) and seasonal flavors.
