Red Lobster in Lynchburg is fantastic! I recently came here and had an amazing experience. I came with two kids, ages 3 and 5. They were excited to try Red Lobster. Firstly let me say the cheddar bay biscuits were amazing. I hadnāt had these biscuits in so long that I forgot how truly amazing they actually are! Cheddar bay biscuits.. put simply.. are the stuff of legend! Thatās for a reason and the reason is they are just a flawless food item. I think Red Lobster serves a million of these biscuits every day? I read thatās how many they serve daily. Thatās a lot of biscuits! Theyāre really savory. They have a mixture of cheddar cheese/garlic in the biscuit dough. I can tell you.. when a basket of these little delights arrives at your table at Red Lobster, you know without question that you are about to have a great time! It doesnāt matter what else follows during the rest of the meal. Theyāre so delicious that its worth going to Red Lobster just for these! Or, you can get takeout. Order them by the dozen to savor at home! By the way, garlic isnāt just in the dough. Thereās garlic butter lightly brushed on them after they get baked! So they get their nice zing. So good. The overboard brownie is low key one of the best things you can order. A big scoop of vanilla ice cream snuggled up with chocolate chip brownie wedges. Itās then drizzled in hot caramel fudge sauce and topped with whip cream. Itās so delicious! It definitely goes overboard so itās true to its name.. itās served in a huge, oversized glass that they used for the Lobsterita. The Lobsterita is a signature alcoholic drink at Red Lobster and itās served in a hilariously big glass. The overboard brownie is just delicious. It doesnāt claim to be anymore than it is. Itās a chocolate lovers dream dessert.. I also like that it makes good use of the hot/cold combo of nice, warm brownie and ice cream. It keeps you coming back even after you get full and kids like it too! I love the Admirals Feast.. Iāve actually always loved it. Iāve always gotten an Admirals feast when I go to any Red Lobster. The only thing I would say about the Admirals Feast is.. sometimes you get way too much breading. Particularly when it comes to the clam strips, which are a lot of times more breadcrumb than mollusk. I have talked with managers before about the clam strips being more bread crumb. The managers at different locations all say the same thing. Itās like the managers are all reading from the same script. They all say itās the kitchen staff. They say the staff during your visit might not be adept with the deep fryer. So I guess youāre at the mercy of the kitchen staff on any given night because they arenāt particularly good yet with the deep fryer. Thereās got to be something Red Lobster can do about this! I get tired of getting no mollusk and all breading!! The kids loved their chicken tenders and they also ate some of the Cheddar bay biscuits. I shared some of the Admirals Feast with the 5 year old. She even pointed out the clam strips. She said quote āthat just looks like bread!ā I said yeah I know, itās all just fried bread. In addition, Iāve noticed the scallops are mostly breading sometimes too. However, not as much as the clam strips. Service was fantastic!! The employees looked very happy to see us and serve us. They were attentive but not too attentive. The waitress earned a great tip. On the way out, I was recognized by one of the employees. They said they recognize me from social media. They shook my hand and told me I am awesome. Thanks! Nice folks!!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had a wonderful time. Our server Starla was awesome. She was very attentive and engaging. The atmosphere was nice, not crowded. The lighting affected my pictures, on the other hand, very nice for our lunch celebrationš. Now, getting to the food... It was SPECTACULAR! The presentation was overwhelming. It was food for royalty. Nothing was overly salty, though it was packed with flavor. The Lobster and Shrimp Pasta was delicious. The sauce was not heavy, perfect to enhance the flavor of the lobster and shrimp. The Roasted Garlic Snow Crab Legs were hot, easy to get the meat out, and so delicious. The Salad was fresh and not too much. The Ultimate Feast with Mail Lobster Tail, Salmon, Shrimp Scampi, Coconut Shrimp with Broccoli, and Baked Potato was phenomenal. The broccoli was tender but not mushy. And the seasoning was addictive. I accidentally dropped one on the table. I wanted to cut off the bottom and eat it, but new I wasn't at home. Hahaha. The Coconut Shrimp were huge and crunchy. Very delicious with the sweet sauce. The Salmon was very tender, fluffy, tasty... Off the chain, if you dip it in the Shrimp Scampi butter. WOW! I dip the crab legs in the Scampi butter, too. A whole 'nother level. And the Lobster tail was tender and the flavor was wonderful. Yes, I tried it in Scampi butter. Both tasted great. We had Cheesecake Bliss and Chocolate Wave to go. Both were delicious. I tried a bite of cheese cake with Chocolate Wave with drizzle chocolate... Bamš§Ø Over the top. 𤤠Sorry for writing delicious so much. It truly was exceptionally seasoned without too much salt. The experience was 10 out of 10. A Birthday Meal to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am giving two stars for the manager and our server attempting to make the situation okay. But I have to say that the kitchen I was way off. For party with a reservation we only got one basket of rolls because the kitchen had none ready and there was not even full tables in the entire restaurant. Secondly we only got one nutcracker for two people who had ordered crab legs and at that no nut crackers were ready when the crab legs were delivered. One of the plates of crab legs was overcooked so that the meat was shriveled. The other plate the crab legs relatively got cold waiting for the Nutcracker. Thirdly they put the melted butter not on the plate with the crab legs but on the plate with a french fries and it spilled so they delivered soggy french fries. Also the dark-haired server with glasses was told that he needed melted for his crab legs she pointed at the butter that was on the french fries and said that was it. She was also the same server when singing happy birthday to the two in our party who was with pens and Counting them. The potato that was delivered with my meal was not even split so no butter or sour cream just a dry potato. Thankfully our server sent over another gentleman to fill our drinks. I ordered a cup of clam chowder which had a lot of grease in it which I come to find out the bottom of the pot must have been scraped because when another of my party wanted a cup he was told they were out. Like I said the manager gave a $10 gift card and a free appetizer and our server brought fresh fries and apologized publicly to us which we all appreciated because it wasn't her fault. The kitchen left a lot...
