Key West Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Lynn Haven

BEST sandwich shop ever!!! I used to ride by this shop all the time and always wanted to try it. One Saturday, me and my husband decided to go in there for lunch (they are only open from 9-3 Mon - Sat) and WOW...I got a simple turkey sandwich with cheese, mayo and mustard and it was DELICIOUS. They even include this delicious sauce to dip the sandwich in that makes it even better. They have more than chips as a side, too. They have grits (delicious, but towards the end of their day they may have already put it away), macaroni and cheese, black beans and rice (also delicious), and french fries. I tried them for breakfast for the first time this morning and loved their breakfast too! This is definitely our Saturday lunch spot every single week. And to top it off, the owner is so personable and makes sure he remembers me and my husbands name every time we come in :) I love this place!

We walked in just before close. The inside has a casual ocean vibe. We were passing through town and wanted to try someplace local. We ordered 3 grilled cheese sandwiches and 2 fries. I love that this places also offers a veggie sandwich and veggie burger, so vegetarians have some options. 🙌 The man at the register was nice. All of our food was good. I liked that white sauce a lot. I think it would be good on a sandwich(not grilled cheese, but a regular sandwich). The fries were hot and fresh. My only complaint was SOME of the fries had too much salt on them, but all in all it was a good experience. If I lived around here, this would be a regular...

I ordered the breakfast bowl: bacon and over-medium egg over GOUDA GRITS! I asked for it to go and it was really packaged thoughtfully to make sure it stayed warm and there were no spills; I don’t think I’ve often seen such attention to detail to make sure nothing disappointed when it was time to eat. Inside was crowded and I was the only one wearing a mask (to include employees and customers); this was disconcerting, but it seemed others were respectful to give me space and no one commented on my wearing a mask. I felt respected. Besides, I was in and out before I knew it because their service was so quick....
