Florida Nail Spa — Local services in Lynn Haven

I moved here recently and I havent found THE salon yet. So I decided to give this one a try first time I went there was about 2-3 weeks ago to get a fill, which a guy named Key did, very quick he did a good job over all although shaping is not his strong suit. Quickness can be good and bad because he was in such a hurry to get me in and out I didnt get a chance to choose a color nor did he offer he just did clear. He then offered a gel top coat for $5 more I agreed. Today I go in for a full set and Kayla starts giving me all the gel colors I said I just wanted polish and she got an attitude she did my nails and started off bad she put tips that were too big and barely glued them down she then started pushing me to do gel again $40. (not being cheap I just had bad experiences with gel peeling off) I said no thank u but I would do the gel top coat for the $5 extra (less drying time) she said no it has to be all or nothing. Umm ok, well she paints my nails very badly she did just the center I had to ask her to please do the sides I hate doing that bc everyone should know their job but ok I had to speak up, she did but again not very well and with an attitude. After sitting for 20min for my nails to dry I go home no problem when all of sudden I look down at my nail and notice one of the tips doesnt have acrylic on the tip so it had bent i guess when I opened my car and obviously ruined the polish so I called and they said no problem we will fix. I go and they ask what I wanted I told them I called about the fix and the girl literally signals me to move aside and she gets the next person in line. After like 5 mins Key tells me to sit. After waiting 25min with my 3 kids 😫 he finally brings me over and says oh u ruined your polish I tell him like 4 times it's not just the polish it's the tip that has no acrylic and its bent plus 3 of my nails are lifting since they weren't glued right due to poor sizing he adds glue to the back of my nails and files the tip of the ruined one and repainted I tell him it's not just the polish and he says it's fine. I felt horrible but I had to get up and walk out I was so frustrated and felt so horrible I must admit I even cried in the car from frustration horrible experience will never go back. They just lost what could have been a loyal customer I know the job is to get people in and out cause it produces more profit but a little customer service skill...

I wouldn't recommend this place to a six-legged dog who's dying of rabies!!! Horrible customer service!!!! First of all my work was mediocre 2 consecutive times, but because I wanted to patronize the local nail salon who had so many obviously FABRICATED reviews, I decided to give them another try. Upon the completion of each service I left a generous tip and was offered the opportunity to have another service with Tammy, but today I was turned away for no apparent reason besides DISCRIMINATION. They're beyond ghetto as to why I even witnessed a fight between all of the employees one morning, yet I still ignored their barbarically unprofessional behavior. Every time I come to this salon I'm the only person of color who's present and somehow I've been treated like a piece of trash on the street in comparison to the treatment I have seen others recieve nevertheless what I'm use to receiving at other nail salons. I tried to ignore their behavior in the past in effort to give them one last chance to rectify the situation, but today when I arrived and they LIED by telling me to wait as a walk-in followed by informing me that there's no appointments available for the day which was another blatant LIE...I had no other choice but to let the universe know how horribly ridiculous this place of "business" is!!! As you see from the photo I've attached the salon is completely empty with at least 4 technicians who are currently available. Do not ever give this garbage representation of a so-called nail spa not even a second of your time nor a penny in your pocket. HAPPY NAILS on 23rd Street is a much better location....clean, great personalities, and polite!!! Not a little trash box full of angry employees like you will unfortunately experience at Florida nails....

I came to visit my daughter and didn't have time to get nails done at home..She recommended Florida nails.. I cant say enough about the cleanliness and following cdc guidelines for covid..However for the 40.00 "fillin" that i got!! First that is far to expensive for the quality of work .I was kinda shocked at the job done..I didnt hear the name of my tech but "He" was frieny enough. That is all I can say good..My nails were long and had been painted black..I asked for the American manicure..And thats what I got..However they look like a 1st grader did them ..I am still filing off the gel from the sides that is on my skin..The color on the tips looks awful..Not solidly colored in at all..They look thick and not at all what I get at home..I thought about going back and complaining but I may get even worse.So I'm gonna chalk it up to a bad experience and move on..I will make time to get them done b4 I come down again.. I can not recommend them if you care what your nails look like.My daughter got a " full set" and her too look bad.They are dull looking because they hurried through and didn't put the clear coat on as they should have..So she has pink dull looking nails that she will have to paint a clear coat on her self.. I'm feeling like I got robbed of 40.00 and my nice looking nails..So now I have to wait for them to grow back and get them done at home by real pros in the business.. The 3 stars I gave is half what you can give for the...
