Ice Skating Rink — Local services in Lynnfield

I recently visited “The Ice Skating Rink” in Lynnfield, MA with my two sons, ages 4 and 11, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! The rink is the perfect size, not too big and not too small, striking a great balance. While the price is a bit higher without your own skates, the overall experience is well worth it. We had so much fun laughing, being silly, and enjoying each other’s company.

Surprisingly, despite being an outdoor rink, it wasn’t as cold as expected, thanks to the constant movement. The atmosphere was delightful, with everyone sharing in the joy of skating. Falls were met with laughter and camaraderie, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The staff was friendly, and the overall vibe of the rink was welcoming. I can’t wait to visit again and create more wonderful memories with my family. Highly recommend this ice rink in Lynnfield for a delightful and memorable skating experience!

(Ps. No phones📵 on the rink⛸️, obviously due to the safety☣️ of self and others, and I can see how it can become very distracting😵‍💫. But considering it was my first time☝🏻skating here⛸️, and I wasn’t given a list 📋 of rules✅, I was able to grab a 🤳snapshot📸 of my four-year-old boy🧒🏼 on the rink skating⛸️ and pointed 👆🏻to something? DO NOT COME HERE. This is an absolute 1 star, Absolutely horrible. I’ve been going here for about 4-5 years and i can use my headphones and my phone cuz i admit i know what i am doing, i’ve been skating since i was young.They should have their rules posted out front, but the fact one of the staff had to walk infront of me and cause a problem instead of pulling me to the side infront of many others made me feel less than human. I will never be going back here and will never be recommending this place to my fellow figure skating friends again. The rink itself was ok, normal. Visited Sunday Jan 15 2023, family of 4, with 2 kids, everything went smooth until we got on the ice. All 4 rental skates had absolutely no edge and didn’t appear to have been sharpened in a very long time. Obviously this was not a fluke with 4 different random skates ranging from men’s 12 to kids 2 and all with dull blades. We could barely skate around the rink once as this creates an unsafe and dangerous situation. We all know how to skate but looked like it was our first time due to these lousy skates. If you do go make sure to bring our own skates as the rink was decent for what it is.
