OTTO — Restaurant in Lynnfield

We came in around 530 pm nice neat clean pizza EMPORIUM. Great style inside of wood decour. Great wooden Tables chairs comfortable seats. Kept warm by overhead heat lamps. LADY'S beware might be a bit to hot to sit under. HAS unisex bathroom very clean. Now it has a great soft drink selection NO Beer or Wine water on tap. Salads freshly replenished 4 large ovens NOT a bistro style kitchen its open but you can't see preparation. Customer service was fine 6 whole pizzas on display different yuppy /Italian styles tried 5 different types 1 not being the Mashed Potato Scallion PASSED on that particular culinary endeavor. First was the Margarita tasty sparse cheese applications very little Mozzarella base, Basil had little flavor Plum tomatoes my guest thought was pre stewed very little flavor. The Chicken Basil very sparse cheese the slice we got had no chicken on it lots of fresh green basil NO flavor to it. Then the Butternut Squash Ricotta & Cranberry tasty very little Mozzarella again. At that point I asked do you put Cheese base on all the Pizzas. WAS assured they do . The plain Cheese Pizza was outstanding, great Cheese content SAUCE was tasty grey PIE Then we had the Cheese and Pepperoni Fantastic flavor lots of normal cheese Pepperoni throughout which brought me to come to the conclusions that I and my companion were assessing the Pies correctly they are not bashful on the price so I would expect More Mozzarella content on specialty pizza's Maybe the Chef just forgot or was having a bad Pizza day GREAT concepts but needed to be more Liberal with the Mozzarella cheese on Specialty pizza. The pepperoni and plain Cheese Pizza saved the day and were high quality taste and texture & flavor going back today with another associate for lunch...

Otto's Pizza in Lynnfield, the pizza place where you can spend your money and wait a long time just to give it to a neighbor for free because they didn't get the order right!

My husband and I are vegan, and despite selecting "vegan cheese" on the GrubHub app, we got a full pizza with real cheese. When my husband called, they told him they'd make us a new one and send it over - then while we were hopping around neighbor's houses to see who could take this pizza (because we don't want it to go to waste), we got another call saying that the manager said "no" to us having another pizza made.

Thanks to Otto, we wasted money, time, energy AND had no dinner for the night! Cereal it is!

It's already been an incredibly stressful week given that I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of skin cancer and have been getting surgeries left and right. My poor husband has been doing a great job with caregiving and he just needed a break for one night to relax and not think about cooking.

It breaks my heart how careless this manager and pizza place was. It's like nobody cares about people anymore. Never coming...

Yesterday, I left a review of 3 stars because I felt the pizza toppings were very sparse and the salads were sparse as well. Today, I got a call from the manager who I felt was very stubborn, belligerent, robotic and did not take any accountability other than to say that she is a corporate store, they measure the toppings and that the Beverly store that I gave a five star review to over tops their pizzas. She was uncompromisable to hear that I was unsatisfied with the pizzas and salad. She did not like that. I compared her store to a franchisee OTTO in Beverly whose customer service and pizzas are stellar. I told her that how she was speaking to me is not how one retains a customer.
