Always save room for dessert? End KBBQ nights with boba? Well Cafe Tokki is the newest addition to Eunia Plaza. Across from Arirang, it's a great spot to end a meal at after KBBQ. Bingsoo, honey toast, other pastries, and drinks make up this small, cozy spot. The interior is made up of a few small round tables and chairs. One side with sofa seats and chairs fits two larger parties and there are smaller sets on another side. Hours are 12-11pm though this isn't listed on their doors.
They were out of strawberry and blueberry on my visit, which were my first and second picks respectively. I ended up settling for a mango bingsoo and was amazed. Snagged a boba because I felt like I had to try it while I was in the area and it's new.
Brought some friends over for a second visit to gauge their thoughts too but also because Cafe Tokki is roughly in the center of all of our locations. Main complaint with the bingsoo is that after devouring the delicious top, the rest of the bingsoo is pretty bland being just shaven milk. Would be phenomenal to include some filling in the center or offer sides like condensed milk to pour and increase the experience.
Mango Bingsoo - amazing mango, tasted very fresh being super soft and juicy. Texture was silky smooth and flavor was sweet. Bingsoo itself was sweet, finely shaven milk. Great consistency. They don't have condensed milk to pour over on top, but it's not needed because there's enough flavor from the sweet milk and mango.
Red Bean Bingsoo - similar bingsoo in being sweet, finely shaven milk. On top is dusted soybean powder, sweet red bean, mochi, and sliced almonds. Red bean was delicious and paired excellently with the bingsoo. Mochi was a bit firm but still chewy, like the mochi you'd get at a froyo spot. Makes sense because that's what it looks like.
Honey Bread - a very simple honey toast, they don't offer flavors or anything. Sweet, fluffy toast with crispy corners, there's a honey glaze with whipped cream and sliced almonds on top. Toast is precut slightly, but needs to be torn apart still. Was yummy but not sure I'd pay the price for a basic honey toast, would pay more for customizations or flavors though!
Classic Milk Tea with Boba - boba is somewhat chewy but is also a bit sticky, not the classic boba spot boba. However, the boba is very sweet so taste is good. Overall an average boba with okay texture but good flavor. Tea is very sweet as well, not sure if you can adjust ice or sugar here because I didn't try and wasn't asked. Classic Okinawa caramelly taste.
Lychee Milkshake - milkshakes here are more of a slush. Seem to be blended with ice not milk and so they're not as creamy. Not too bad if you expect a slush but if you were craving a milkshake, pretty disappointing. I'd skip the milkshake for something else like their fruit teas or coffee.
Walnut Pecan Cookie - imagine a biscotti but in circular, cookie form. Similar texture and a bit firm. This cookie is akin to the nutty, Italian biscuits and has an almond-like pecan flavor, though it may have been walnut pecan. All I know is that it was nutty. It wasn't very sweet, which is fine with me, but a disclaimer for sugar fiends.
S'mores Cookie - mostly a chocolate cookie with some toasted marshmallow on the inside, but if it's not fresh, the marshmallow isn't gooey and is subpar. Visiting late at night, the cookie was not fresh and so I didn't think the cookie was...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of Café Tokki for years—it’s long been my go-to spot, especially for late-night Bingsu cravings. Unfortunately, my visit on the night of July 17, 2025, may have been my last.
After recommending the café to friends who had never been, we arrived at 10:31 PM—well before the posted 11 PM closing time listed both on Google and the front door. The lights were on, the neon "open" sign was lit, the door was wide open, and there were still customers inside. However, the moment we stepped in, we were told they had already closed at 10:30 PM and that the website hadn’t been updated to reflect the new hours.
As we stood outside trying to regroup, the remaining customers left and the lights were abruptly turned off at 10:40 PM. Moments later, we noticed what looked like a group of friends waiting outside—making it appear as if the staff had closed early to socialize, rather than serve the posted hours.
As a fellow small business owner, I know how hard it is to run a business, and I never take leaving a negative review lightly. But the way this situation was handled felt dismissive and disrespectful—not only to me, but to the friends I’d excitedly brought along.
I would be happy to update or reconsider this review if the closing hours are corrected publicly and some form of acknowledgment or apology is made. Customers deserve clarity and courtesy, especially from a business many of us have supported...
Read moreMy family and I went to tokki today to get yummy dessert and it was good. I got their blueberry cup bingsu and their grapefruit aid, super tasteful and well balanced with the bingsu, I’m writing because i saw a review on here about a worker named Terry or Telly and I went there late at night and witnessed a lady with her husband causing a problem for the workers I went today around 9:30pm and stayed til 10:10pm, but this lady asked about matcha bingsu, I’m not so sure about what exactly but I heard she wanted matcha with only red bean but was told no by the workers because they can’t take the strawberries out because the price is different and she also wanted it in a cup which is roughly about 7 dollars but the bowl is 21 with tax and so she got mad and kept harassing the worker, she ended up ordering a cup bingsu but she threw the cup bingsu onto the counter, it went everywhere, and threw her spoon towards the workers. Cafe tokki workers gave perfect service and smiled a lot at me and my family. Terry or Telly, didn’t raise her voice nor say anything besides answering her questions. Just wanted to tell what happened as a customer who witnessed all of...
