1 star because the servers are always kind!! This review is for the manager. Or as he say, ā€œim the one that makes this.ā€ I came here with my son due to having options he likes and I like. Hes pick like 90% of other kids. He ordered the Chicken Karaage Donburi specifically because the photo and description showed plain fried chicken — no sauce. When the dish arrived, it was covered in sauce, which was not what I expected or wanted. I politely explained to the server that I chose this dish because it didn’t show any sauce, and asked if it could be remade. She went back to talk to see what she can do and said manager said there’s nothing they can do. I still need to pay for it. The manager came over and immediately insisted that donburi always comes with sauce, and that I’d need to pay if I wanted it redone — no discussion, no attempt at understanding. He said if I wanted sauce on the side, I needed to ask for sauce on the side. Okay uncle….. how would I know if the description or sauce was not shown in the photo. He kept arguing and eventually just removed the order from the tab and told me to ā€œhave a good night,ā€ effectively pushing us out. To make things worse, I wasn’t even given a chance to order something else for my son or leave a tip for the server after I had already handed over my card to pay. I asked to tip the server directly and was told ā€œno.ā€ As I walked out, he sarcastically says, ā€œHave a good day!ā€ And he said is more than once. This is not our first time here. And my son always gets chicken karage. And sorry… but even if I was ordering this for myself with sauce, this chicken is over cooked. The lack of customer care and the way we were dismissed was completely uncalled for. It was embarrassing and disappointing. Mistakes or misunderstandings happen, but it’s how businesses respond that matters. Sadly, this experience left a very bad impression. Again, this is for the manager!

This is probably our 3rd time here with a group. The place is quick and convenient with plenty of parking and minimal wait time. Those are strong reasons to want to visit this place with small groups! The place is also very clean, and food are delivered via a conveyer train! So food comes quickly after it's made and goes straight to your table. Very convenient. Staff comes often to check on you and refill water. They have a robot that delivers plates, chopsticks, napkin and water when you get there. As far as the food. They are good and that's about it. Nothing super special and memorable, nothing makes them stand apart from other place. So I liked it, but not love it. That's why it's not a 5 star yet. I recommend the poke salad bowl and whatever you fancy for your choice of fish. It's all good, but nothing special. If you are in the area and you are hungry and wants to get some sushi quickly, this is the place for it,

The speed of a conveyor belt place, but your food is made fresh to order! You place your order from a tablet and the food delivered straight to your table as soon as it’s prepared. The issue is there is no way to order alcoholic drinks or pay from the tablet, and there is no button to call a server to your table. The only time I saw a staff member during my dining experience was when I set my card out at the end of the table. Tipping felt weird at that point, but I did regardless because I’m assuming a portion goes to the kitchen. The food was good, but the owners need to put in a ā€œCall Serverā€ button ASAP. I wanted to order some Sake and ask for fresh soy sauce. There was a Kikkoman bottle on the table, but I’m pretty sure someone filled it with tempura dipping sauce by accident, because it was sweet and tasted awful with my nigiri. I’ll be back just to see Little Peanut again! ^-^

My girlfriend and I often come here and we truly love this place. My girlfriend has been going to this chain of sushi restaurants since 2019 and then she introduced me to it as well. We decided to invite our dear friends to this place and share some great sushi together.

There were 4 adults and 1 child in our group. When it came time to pay, we discovered that an 18% gratuity had been automatically added to our bill. We were not informed in advance that the gratuity would be mandatory.

According to the information in the menu, mandatory gratuity applies to parties of 5 or more. However, we had a child who did not order a separate meal and, essentially, was not a full participant. I believe this was unfair, especially given the lack of prior notice.

We asked for a separate plate to be able to split our sushi with our friends (the conveyor belt put them all onto one big plate) - just to be told,ā€no, we can’t do that.ā€ We had to finish our plate and then pass it to them. Great service, right? Definitely deserve the 18% gratuity tip for NOT wanting to bring an extra plate to our table.

I kindly ask the restaurant to reconsider its policy of informing customers and to refrain from adding gratuity without explicit consent, especially when the group consists of only 4 adults.

There’s a huge possibility that this review will be ignored, but I would like the restaurant to reach out to me so that we can discuss this. Every restaurant, I’ve been to - they would tell us before our table even started ordering. Here, it seemed a bit scammy. They sat us down, the robots and monorail served us. Then at the end, gave us a check that had an extra gratuity tip added on. When we asked the owner or manager, they told us that it’s on the screen. Small white text on a screen. Why not tell us before we sat down? We’ve never ran into this problem before, especially with the 5th person in the group being a small child who was served by her mother - not by the employees. Reading other reviews on here, I’ve seen that many ran into this issue and all were upset that no one told them ahead of time. Upsetting and bad service - not worth the 18%.

We will be looking for a new sushi restaurant that truly values its customers - especially my girlfriend who was a...

Highway robbery! Cash grab! If it's not broken, don't fix it! Fastfood is too over rated especially in this restaurant.

The new layout of this restaurant has a clean "cookie cutter" atmosphere which immediately took me out of the experience; it was clearly adjusted to meet the regulations from the pandemic 5 years ago. Now it feels very awkward to dine there.

I was simply escorted to my table and served the bill, would have given less of a tip if my small portioned, overpriced sushi didn't jack the amount up.

Nobody explained how to order food, I figured I was supposed to use the tablet after the third available waiter walked passed my table.

A waiter putting cups of water on the annoying robot to serve to the customers is probably the most unnecessary and counter productive system in that small restaurant. The music that the robot plays is loud and makes me feel like I should leave soon while I'm eating...

On the food trolley, some of the plates were difficult to reach and did not give me enough time to take before it went back to the kitchen.

Very small portions on the plates and too expensive; I could have gotten a lot more sushi at a buffet for a lot less.

Everything altogether made my visit very short.

There was nothing wrong with the former layout of the restaurant before they changed it; it was a much more inviting atmosphere and the food used to be a...
