Tacos Estilo Guadalajara — Restaurant in Lynwood

The place has nothing Guadalajara about it. It's insulting to even call it Tacos Estilo Guadalajara. Their al pastor was literally asada in adobo sauce. We waited 20mins for our food to be highly disappointed with the representation of Guadalajara. My husband is from Guadalajara and he was extremely insulted. They didn't have frilos de la hoyo, nor did they have cebollas asadas, nor offered tacos de tripas. To conclude my review I would also like to add that the cashier had a horrible attitude wasn't friendly nor welcoming. She was giving me a attitude during my entire order and another man walked out because of her attitude. She doesn't know the difference between credit or debit. There is a sign saying they have 3.5% charge with a purchase with a credit card when I paid with debit and she still charged me the 3.5% charge which is unethical. Para terminar mi opinion...

Seriously the best tacos I ever ate! Decided to buy some tacos for the office and it was seriously bomb! Each taco is only 1.69 and is loaded with meat! The tacos are al vapor style and so yummy. Flour was fluffy and hot. Each taco was packed to brim. I feel so bad not taking any photos cause we scarfed them down they were so good. The asada tacos meat was perfectly chopped and flavorful. No chewy or fatty pieces. I also tried the cabeza - the best cabeza i ever tasted! So soft and it really just melts in your mouth! The habanero salsa is so spicy and good and the green salsa is also yummy too! Takeout only this pandemic! Everything was packaged really well - we ordered 8 different plates/taco combinations and each plate had a baggie with lime, cucumber, and radish. Only thing that sucks is it’s cash only but i will definitely come back here for the tacos! Soo...

The interaction between employees and customers was awkward and frustrating. I ordered 8 tacos for myself and my husband ordered 6 for himself. Both the cashier and the cook made a big deal about having to put my tacos in separate plates bc they couldn't put them all in one. Keep in mind that i never requested they be on the same plate. I told them both that as long as i get what i ordered, everything would be fine.. our number was called and the cook was aggressive when telling me that he couldn't put all 8 tacos in 1 plate. I said i didn't care as long as i got what i ordered. He mixed up my tacos with my husbands bc he put our tacos on the same plate.
