Tom's Famous Burgers 5 — Restaurant in Lynwood

Now let start by saying that not all hostess here are rude but lately i have noticed that you only get exceptional service only when you speak Spanish. I am fortunate to be fluent in both languages and so when I arrive to Tams I respond in the language the hostess begins speaking. Most often it's in English and so I respond in English. As I'm requesting my order I only get a negative body language and a cold facial expression. The hostess just keep repeating "anything else " over and over again as to imply I have overstayed my welcome. On top of all that I don't even get a "Thank You " and when I ask for condiments like honey I have to fight them to get more. I always get a tea with my meal and I don't have sugar nor do I have the artificial sweetener for health reasons. This is why I ask for a more natural sweetener. As I enjoy my meal I notice the exceptional level of service the Spanish speaking customers receive. They receive a warm welcome followed by politeness and common courtesy. I'm fluent in both languages so I completely understand everything transaction there after mine. Tom's Burgers has been a staple in the city of Lynwood for as long as I can remember. Knowing that in a few heartbeats I can grab a tasty meal or a quick bag of fresh fries, all made per order, makes this place one to definitely share with the world.

Today I had a craving for a BLT, and off to Tom's I went. Keeping it classic I was immediately and kindly greeted by Linda , which is a lost art form, especially walking into a fast food joint. Checking out their vast menu, It came to my surprise that they have the illustrious BLTA, yea that's right, Bacon, lettuce, tomato AND AVOCADO!!

I just had to have it and Linda along with the sweet hearted Arial served up my to go bag with all the bells and whistles, including ranch, peppers and enough ketchup for my perfectly cooked fries, to where I didn't even have to ask for it.

Food is ok, but the service is horrible we used to like coming here to eat but I think we are done with this place. They took like 20 minutes to bring some of the food and the place had only three tables occupied. They brought the food and no utensils we asked for ketchup like 3 times because the waitress kept on forgetting I had to get up and get the utensils and the ketchup myself and that's when the waitress asked if we had placed an order for chicken nuggets for my 2 year old. My daughters order was obviously the last order they brought to the table, and we were never asked if we needed something else. The waitress and the chef looked completely lost in the kitchen I saw the waitress with my daughters chicken nuggets in her hand going in circles when I asked for ketchup and my utensils.
