So this bar is kind of my home bar! Safe, run really well strategically, and kind of impossible to mess this up. The family that owns this place are really great people. The crowd is a nice mix economically, of lower to higher middle class generally. Don’t get me wrong, there are some real ballers that show up here and they are even down to earth people as well. For mixed drinks, I prefer the pour of Nikki, Hillary, and Christie! Actually the same 3 customer service wise! Ladies the whole pool table crowd loves the drink quality and pace from you all on a regular. When you are getting kind out beat up with heavy crowds, I would suggest either 1 more bartender or at least a bar back to help. Not that people are waiting unexpectedly too long for drinks, but you should be able to focus more on just the drinks and not bussing tables in these crowds. But you still manage the pace pretty good.
As for food, Hector won’t miss! Hector… I don’t know how your do it bro, especially with the crowds you get, but your efficiency, output, flavors, skill in seasoning and textures… Dude you keep a lot of people happy, at the same time. Hope you’re getting paid your worth. Hector I’m still thinking about my chicken quesadilla… bro… it’s insanely good! Only suggestion is to serve jalapeños on the side!
This guy Hector came to master at the Blue Willow and he has mastered the entire menu. The everything there is undoubtedly good to OMGeee!
The owner is sooooo soooo sooo soo so nice, engaging to the crowd, friendly to everyone, but still manages a no nonsense demeanor. That’s what keeps these doors open.
You want a good time with good people in a nice mixed crowd! Come check us out at the Willow! Oh, bring your pool game too, I’ll gladly take...
Read moreTHe customer service especially by the manager was horrible. it is a nice little neighborhood bar with ok food. I went there one night wanting wings and after asking the bartender if they do all the flats and was told yes i ordered some.30-40 minutes later i was approached with my food by the owner who proceeds to tell me she couldnt do my request and i had a mixture. I informed her i had come here instead of quaker steak and wanted wings but could not eat the other kind , i let her know that she was leaving me with not many options due to the fact i had waited there so long and now she is bringing all the food out. she was not apologetic and simply said "she did not have time to come out and inform me when she got the order" she gave me the option of getting something else which would take another 20 and was not what i had purposely gone out to eat for or getting 6 of the kind i ordered for a few dollars less than the entire amount of 12.(not a good value compared to the whole amount) I continued to try to explain my situation and she again could care less and repeated she did not have time to tell me (mind you the bar is all of 6 tables big) to me this says she does not care about the happiness of her customers or her product.I have been happy with the bar until now. For me i can not see spending my money in a place where the owner is so care less about how her customers are handled and gives such horrible customer service. Will not be spending my hard earned money at this place after how carelessly i...
Read moreI just called blue Willow to ask what the food special was for the evening. The phone was answered by a man and he said "it's Burger night." I asked him what that meant and he said all the burgers were on sale and that I could add whatever I wanted for a set price. I asked what that set price was, and he said "I don't know." I asked if there was someone there that knew and his response was "yes but I'm busy right now." I said "sorry for bothering you" and hung up.
Who works somewhere without knowing the specials Why answer the phone if you don't in fact know what the special is Why make a customer feel like they're bothering you for asking Why not just find out the answer
In my opinion, you won't stay "busy" for long if that's how you treat your customers.
I was in the service industry for 20 years, and not at one of my previous employers would that...
