Came in today & I was in need of getting some items for my graduation party. It took me 10 mins to find some help after walking around the entire store. The first woman who helped me was nice. When I wasn't able to find the items I needed I walked around the entire store AGAIN looking for someone. I needed to ask a question and get some other suggestions since the thick thread I originally came in for wasn't in stock. I went back to the front to see if someone could tell me where I could find zip ties. One lady told me she wasn't sure, another girl told me "in the back, somewhere by frames." When I went to frames I did not see any zip ties. After thoroughly looking for 5 mins, (even checking other aisle's) I went back to the front where there were 3 cashiers standing around. I asked if there was someone who could come assist me, the girl responded, "we don't have any workers here today so there isn't anyone that can come help you." I immediately asked her for the manager. When the manager came up, before even addressing me she says, "are the zip ties not on the rack." She then walks to a rack that had 3 white zip ties packages. I asked her where there any more in a different color because I needed black or green. In a snarky tone she says, "No, what you see, is what we got." The service and non-help I received there today was terrible. I spend 25 mins in that store only to walk out empty handed and it wasn't even busy. Being short staffed is never an excuse! I work in the medical field and I couldn't imagine telling a patient family member that I couldn't tend to their love one because we don't have any workers. SMH. This store has...
Read moreHobby Lobby is a store that I like to shop at, but today I was really disappointed in how they treated me(good customer) in the checkout. I waited in a long line to check out with about 3-4 small items. One item was needing a price lookup, they handled it really terrible and it took a very long time, put me aside and I waited a very long time to get the item, also insinuated that I switched the tag to get it cheaper - that really infuriated me! Not cool! I was very honestly trying to buy the item with the tag that was presented with the item (last item of its kind in the store). Pro-tip: make sure customer is actually trying to steal first. It turns out the tag was correct. The item was cheaper if I had ordered it online. Maybe I would have been treated nicer that way. I paid and told the cashier that I didn’t think she handled that appropriately and made me the customer feel like I did something wrong, inconvenienced me while checking out nearly everyone in the store. It took so long, my husband had time to go to Home Depot and come back to get me.I hope a manager reads this!!! Never treat customers this way!!! Your customers are your life blood. Never take them for granted. I really think an apology would have gone a long way in this case. Nevertheless, the cashier showed no concern at how it...
Read moreThis location has a great selection of inventory. However, that's the only reason for even 2 stars. The customer service is seriously lacking with rude staff. The fabric counter has a bell to ring for service however, if nobody is around, it's not entirely loud so they may not hear it. After waiting for a while, I walked up to the front where 3 staff were just hanging around. When I asked for help at the fabric counter the immediate response I received was a glare and "Did you ring the bell?" Yes. Yes I did. Twice. But I do not appreciate the attitude. Then, when walking up to the cash registers for check out, again there were 2 staff just hanging out talking while standing right where the line should be so you had to walk around them. Which doesn't sound like a big deal but how about just standing off to the side where you aren't blocking the path to the only cash register that is open? And maybe also helping out when a long line is forming and opening another register? More incidents with rude staff making rude comments to another woman in line as well. Work on the customer service- I see I'm not the only one who thinks so in the...
