Was recommended to check out this restaurant and was not disappointed!
It is a small restaurant but had no issue getting a seat at lunchtime (was a table for 2.) Easy to locate from the street (it is in a small strip with other businesses)
Wait staff was very attentive and was quick to provide menu's and beverages and take our order. I ordered the chicken tempura appetizer and the chicken hibachi lunch. The appetizer was very generous (larger then I was expecting) and had 4 large pieces of chicken, a few onion rings, and a few sweet potato "pancakes" and was very good.
The yum yum sauce was way too sweet for me and the hibachi sauce was a tad overtly sweet as well but the actual dish was great and the sauce was not overwhelming with the rest of the dish. It was served with fried rice and lo mein noodles which is unusual and welcome! My coworker got a few sushi rolls (the bulk of what there menu consists of and is known for) and he was very impressed with the few rolls he ordered.
Great lunch spot and would recommend it if you are...
Read moreI was very excited to invite my cousin out to eat at this restaurant. I have been here once before and the food was amazing, the first time I had a to go order. The second time around I called to see if it was a wait time that particular day, the host said yes seating is available, I asked if I needed a reservation the host said no. I came in 30 minutes later there was one open table available I proceeded to sit down. The host came over to me to inform me that the table had been reserved. I said but I just called and asked you said it was available, she told me right there that the table is taken, with no one sitting there. I was very puzzled as to why I couldn't sit down, but I have an idea of why I couldn't. I felt very discriminated against and offended. I will never eat nor order anything...
Read moreMy husband and I dined a bit late tonight and I just have to say, even in the late hour, this place did not cease to amaze. We got the rock shrimp appetizer and the Yellowtail Jalapeño. The rock shrimp was perfectly fried- not too heavy but just enough crisp and the sauce was similar to a bang bang shrimp, but lighter with a small kick. The yellowtail was very fresh and bursting with flavor between the sauce and little bite of jalapeño. We got three rolls. The Fujiyama roll, the Blackpepper Trio, and the Sunset roll. Each of the rolls was beyond fresh with high quality fish. They were all very distinct in their own way and if I werenât so full, I wouldâve tried more. I could go on and on, but go see for yourself! I know I will be back. (Side note, there is a 5% discount for cash,...
