Buffalo's Cafe — Restaurant in Macon

Me and my husband went for “bash night”, which is all you can eat wings, after reviewing their website which promotes this and driving 40 mins, we were told they no longer offer this. Irritated, none the less we stayed to eat since we have driven so far. After we ordered our drinks, a man, who i am assuming must have been a part of management came to the table and said “ I dont know why its still showing that on the website, we only offer wings at a discounted price on Tuesday and Saturday. I’ll have to tell my GM to remove it.” No apologies for the inconvenience or even an introduction on who he was. We ordered the sampler app and some wings and fries. The app came out pretty quick and was semi warm and we were pleased with it. Then our wings and fries came. The fries were cold and had the texture of fries that had been sitting for a while. As I was removing the celery and carrots from on top of my wings, I noticed one of the carrots had a coating white dressing on it. At this point I had not even opened my dressing. Which leads me to think they reused it. The wings were cold and the honey garlic sauce at the bottom of the basket already had started to congeal with all the grease. Maybe our food would have been at least warm enough to eat if our waitress would have been more attentive to get our food,rather than sitting down at a table right next to the section she was serving chatting it up with another coworker and a friend. Needless to say we asked for to go boxes to put all our food in. Our waitress could clearly see were didn't eat anything and didn't bother to ask how our food was. Instead she just brought the bill and immediately asked if we were ready to pay. We paid our $60 bill and left. We wont return to...

5/16/25. The food is amazing. Just tried a new flavor on our wings - husband loves the spicy peach and I love the red hot ranch. The black beans are good on anything! Brileigh is our favorite server - she's very good at what she does (she recommended the red hot ranch)!! The hostesses know we're going to ask for her area as soon as we walk through the door! I absolutely love this place!

4/5/25. Still the best!! My son-in-law from Florida is a new fan!!! Service is top-notch and food is amazing. 11/14/24. This place was packed!!! We received great service and the food was great! 10/11/24. After being angry about being sent away, we decided to return because we like it here. Spoke with Jerry, the manager, who said the young man who told us we couldn't be seated didn't truly understand what was happening - that he shouldn't have sent us away because they weren't going to be "backed up" in the kitchen THAT long. Things are back as they should be, where the service and the food are top-notch!! UPDATE 9/20/24 8:10pm: We walked in and were told that because the kitchen is backed up, they couldn't seat us!! Even if all we wanted was a beer, WE COULDN'T BE SEATED!!! So the kitchen will be backed up for hours???! THIS DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE. Why not speak truth that a portion of your staff called out (that wouldn't be true here because there were plenty around telling us the kitchen was backed up) or whatever truth existed. You don't expect things will get better?? Poor management????? Just shut your doors, damn!! We left. Probably won't be back for a long while. I have never left a bad review on a restaurant until now. Food was poor quality for one. I ordered wing and tender dinner with fries and broccoli. Appetizer was fried pickles. Wings were dry. Chicken tenders were not tenders, they were chicken strips. Like rubber. Broccoli had to be freezer burned. Coke was flat. Silverware was a tad better quality than plastic ware. I sat at a booth. Napkin dispenser on table was dusty, dirty and greasy. Looked like it had been there for years. Pictures on wall of booth was no better. They even looked to have food particles and ketchup from 1987.

I dont complain to managers about stuff like this. I should have. I paid over 25 dollars for the worst meal I ever had. I took majority of the food home to my dog. He will eat anything.

If the owner or owners read this, I cant possibly be the only person who said these things. Buy better quality food! No need to spend money on the taco bowl to put broccoli in. That was the oddest thing I ever seen. Buy your food from a quality distributor. Go sit at a booth and see the filth I did. You have to know the food is poor quality and not stored properly. Not to mention what it taste like. Even down to the drink. My guess the soda dispenser looks the the napkin dispenser. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day at this place.
