Chen's Wok VII — Restaurant in Macon

Most Chinese spots cook their food fresh, especially when you're paying $13.00 for a dinner. And i mean 13 for ONE dinner, a total bill of 20+ ...I went in here hoping to find my new Chinese spot in macon, ordered the pepper steak and cashew chicken. I thought they were going to cook it upon order so I stepped out for a few minutes, within 3 minute of me stepping out i saw my meal was ready. The guy scooped it out of the food that had been sitting on the front area since lunch. Extremely bland, no flavor to either dish. Even the rice was old and gross.. come on you guys should be perfecting rice if you run a Chinese restaurant... grabbed a menu also upon arriving and there was garbage in the menu holders...There's also a stinch in the restaurant. I do not recommend anyone...

Ordered general tso chicken and rice on today July 18th for lunch. When I opened it the color of the sauce looked like watered down gravy and the meat had a sour/ bitter taste. So I took it back and was told (it was from yesterday.) And she kept saying she can’t give me my money back from before. But I just ordered it today and brought it right back. They are usually nice but today I had a bad experience. I will not be eating from here anymore. The food was brought back the same day. The girl that took my order said she remembered that I just ordered my food. I did not wait 24 hours to take the food back. It was still hot when I brought it back. I used to think that Chen's wok was the best Chinese food in Macon. However I do not think that anymore. The last couple of times I have gotten food from there it has been down right awful. I decided to give them one more try in hopes that the past couple of times was just a fluke or someone was having a bad night. Once again I was very disappointed . The food was so bad that I couldn't even eat it. Their lo mein is nothing more than chicken noodle soup dressed up and sesemi chicken was chewy and the sauce must have been out of a can.
