Cook Out — Restaurant in Macon

So I go to Cook out on game day, they literally just opened and the manager on duty was great, a falcons fan and it was my first time trying the Cajun Chicken Sandwich!! I fell in love and being in food service, I greatly appreciated his CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND HOT! I told everyone about this Chicken sandwich and the manager ( black guy, low hair cut..hate I don't remember his name). So after working ( food service management), I drive some distance just to get this sandwich! The drive thru cashier remembered me and I her...nice and pleasant young lady. After getting home( I ate the 3 nuggets in the car lol) my Cajun Chicken looked like a Krystal chic!! Old, dry and so much so it was half the size. I called to complain to The manager Chris, he immediately told me he wasn't replacing my tray only the sandwich...I told him about the drive, my first experience, all that! Lol I was like oohh ok. I would do whatever to satisfy a customer but anywho, I wanted the sandwich so bad I drove back to get both orders replaced. I feel punished...the fries were old, the sandwich still not fresh only again the nuggets were bomb. As a manager and catering owner, I would be sure to remake the food myself a d cooked EVERYTHING FRESH! Thanks Chris (TOM HILL) I will try the other location(BROOKHAVEN) from here on out. The food was great, definitely worth five stars. The employees, however were a very poor quality and bad representation of the company. Their cashier must have been new because when someone was giving her their order she was having a VERY difficult time entering it and finally said I don't know how to work this thing and asked another employee that was just standing there for help. Instead of helping her he yelled in the back that she didn't know how to use the register that they needed a manager and have her a very nasty look. Not even ten minutes later when I'm eating my food, that same girl goes over to two other employees sitting in the corner and was all over one of the employees. She told him about what the other guy did and he jumped up and she was pulling him back saying drop it drop it. I understand these are high school students, but this sort of personal drama and PDA by employees that are on the clock AND sitting in the restaurant where the customers sit is very...

I love Cook Out. The only thing wrong with this one is that it is really hard to hear the employee speak through the drive-thru speaker. There were several cars in both drive-thru lines when I visited and I ordered 5 cookout trays. Only two of them were the exact same. Our order came out a little bit more slowly than usual, but it was a large order. They got everything correct and even included the right sauces. The employee was nice. Cook Out shakes are amazing. If you come here for nothing else, you must get one of their creamery shakes. I also love that when you order water they give you bottled water (Dasani) instead of a styrofoam cup.
