My son ask me to take him to this not so clean restaurant so he could order a happy meal as any kid would but little to my short sight we got home not even 5 mins walking into our home my son came running to me to show me that he had a huge wad of receipt papers stuffed underneath the ice in his drink. Now if you all could've seen this paper it was huge and I'm wondering how they could've missed that long piece of paper in my baby's drink and if you're wondering how I know that it was their receipt I read the receipt and it clearly had their name and addy on it and it was the end of the day sales report. I work in the food service industry so I know what an end of the day report looks like. I was appalled at how they could've missed this and I was also pissed because my son drank his nasty drink and he could've gotten sick over this careless incident because who knows how many hands that paper touched and for it to end up at the bottom of my baby drink. When I went back to speak with the manager I pulled her to the side quietly and let her know what happened and yes she offered me another drink and of course I didn't accept her offer I mean what sane individual would after that filthiness. I did let her know that we wouldn't be spending our hard earned dollars at that location anymore. I personally don't eat McDonald's and I only went there to appease my son because he wanted a toy out of his Happy Meal. So to all of the world please check your items before driving off and I normally check my food and drinks but it was beginning to storm that very day. That incident could've been easily avoided only if they were paying...
Read moreI would like to let it be known that Iâm not from Macon, but I was so astounded by the horrible service here that I memorized the surroundings and found this location on google maps. I came here with my family on July 5th during breakfast. Iâm a patient and understanding person in general. I also have worked customer facing in retail and fast food, so Iâm even more understanding than a normal customer because I know how things go as an employee. I came here with my family and there was no line, however no one came to the register. We were in no rush and understood that obviously there were other things being done at the moment. Cool, we can wait. An employee yells from the kitchen to order from the kiosk because theyâre packing orders. Again, my family is in no rush so we continue to wait. She yells again that we need to order from the kiosk because theyâre busy. We donât work for McDonalds. We donât have to take our own orders. We did not mind waiting. Idk if she had a bad morning and just didnât want to deal with customers but the register is indeed there for a reason. Cashiers are not obsolete. We all were thoroughly confused at her commanding us to go to the kiosk. It was more about how she said it. She didnât apologize for the wait, she didnât say that somebody would be with us in a moment, she didn't present the kiosk as an option in lieu of waiting. She gave us a command to go to the kiosk because she was busy. We almost left until a young lady, a new employee, came and took our order because she also realized how foolish that situation was. Idk what they had going on that day but the employees here need to be...
Read moreTook my grandkids to get happy meals. I placed our order...if you are a grandparent, YOU KNOW your grandkids will tell you if you don't order the right thing. I KNOW I ordered a 4 nugget happy meal and a 6 nugget happy meal. We finally get to the window, I paid, and she gave me a 4 and 6 piece nugget -- they were so slow, our food was at the payment window, and the frozen drinks were very melty. I told her I ordered happy meals. She said you did not order happy meals, I told her I KNEW I ordered happy meals. I asked my grandson what I ordered and he said happy meals. She told me again you DID NOT order happy meals. I said I wanted to talk to the manager. She said pull up to the next window, I asked why. She said you are being rude to me, I don't want to talk to you. And she did that little head and shoulder wiggly/shimmy thing as she was talking -- you know what I'm talking about. I used an expletive and went to the next window. The GENTLEMAN who helped me at that window was the epitomy of good customer service. My grandkids even commented how calm and nice he was. He gave us the missing fries and toys and told me I actually saved money the way she rang up the order. The gentleman who was so polite and calm is the manager of the Harrison Road store. I was very impressed with his customer service skills. I will admit I did not handle this encounter well, and I told my grands not to...
