Avoid this starbucks at all costs. There is one in the book store at the Shoppe's at River Crossing that is worth the extra 2 miles drive. Major problems: 1) the wait. It doesn't matter if you drive through at 6:00am or come in at 10:00 pm....you will wait. It doesn't matter if it's crowded or you're the only person...you will wait. If you are driving through for your morning cup of coffee, give yourself an extra 20 minutes. I'm not kidding...I leave the house 20 minutes ahead of time to account for the wait. One time I saw my drink made and sitting on the counter, but I had to wait in the drive through because the cashier was talking to another employee (looked like a manager telling her what to do for the evening...but that doesn't matter. Give directions AFTER the customer is served). 2) the coffee here is not good. In the summers I like to get cold drinks. Every time they are different. Sometimes it's thick, sometime's its super watery. I've had to throw away my drink THREE times because it was made incorrectly. I didn't order anything off menu either, just iced coffee or a frappacino. Sure...if you call, they'll give you another for free...but it's not worth the extra drive to go get it. Almost everytime it's sloppy and I have to bring extra napkins to wipe it off as it pours out under the lid in my car.
Bottom line: if you insist on going here, expect an incorrectly made drink and to wait to get it. If possible, go to the other one in...
Read moreThe service for the times that I have been there has been disappointing. I do not like to discriminate based on skin color, I am a black woman as well. This is not for discrimination purposes. However the lady in the drive thru happens to be black. I'm only specifying race, because of identification, because I did not get her name. I experienced her trying to mock me as I was ordering. I went to Starbucks at around 2:00pm or a little after. She underdelivered customer satisfaction, but hurriedly without fail, stretches her arm out for a tip. If she doesn't get one, she speaks with a condescending attitude, leaves things off on their order on purpose, and tries to rush them out of the drive thru line. Her appearance is mid. It doesn't even look like she tried on her hair, she had a ponytail or bun that barely made the cut, she looked dusty, and she was behaving dusty too and her attitude is a reflection of that. It's disgusting to think about her in connection with Starbucks. She should not have a job in customer service . It's clear she hates being polite to customers. So, whoever gave her that position in general needs to go back and review, because this is not my first time having an encounter...
Read moreThe coffee? Standard Starbucks. Cleanliness? Good, considering it's packed in here. Efficiency? Speedy. Attitude? Typical; why is it that no matter which StarbucksI visit, and as a Goldmember I've visited so many in too many States to count, there's always at least one ahole baristo/barista who has to spew his/her anti socio poitical religious garbage from behind the bar in some smug, pseudo witty verbal diasplay of vomit, as if daring his/her coworkers to either join in, leave, or fire him/her? The lack of professionalism, the ugliness, the message that "he doesn't want to be here serving customers" permeates your exotic, bold, roasted blends, ruining the appetites of the snackers who look across the street and consider eating at Chik-Fil-A instead, of all places. Yes, the ringleader, the bearded redhead with the ponytail should give up his sorry attempt at being a barista and try talk radio at 3am as a career, or finish his college courses in philosophy, political science, criminal justice and theology.... I will NEVER visit this...
