This was quite possibly the worst food I’ve ever received in my entire life. Unfortunately, I ordered through GrubHub with a coupon and that was just the wrong thing to do. I had to change an item and it wasn’t a big change – it was literally substituting vegetables for meat on ONE taco. I placed this order two hours prior (I wanted it delivered in the evening and that way when I got home, I could enjoy it). I contacted GrubHub immediately, and they called the restaurant to make sure that this issue would be changed. I too called the restaurant to make sure this would be changed as they were not making my order yet. The order was an hour away from even being prepared so there should’ve been no reason that this could not have actually been done. Not only did they screw up the tacos-they were slathered with meat as if to give me a middle finger. Both were flour tortillas yet I received corn and a boatload of meat. My burritos were ordered clear and I easily listed everything I wanted on them and my mother (who does not eat sour cream -we didn’t order sour cream on it –it literally had about 5 tablespoons of sour cream on her burrito). My burrito that I ordered with sour cream had very little. I basically threw away 3/4 of a burrito because it tasted like crap. I guess I am not a super fan of chipotle – even though their commercials act as if it’s so fresh – it’s still always taste like slop and I don’t know how hard it is for someone to simply follow the order. When you go inside and they ask you what you want you tell them and like a little assembly line they add everything you want to it. So it isn’t as if you are ordering something that comes standard that is made the same way every single time and you ask for a substitution -then I could understand a mess up here or there. Basically threw away almost an entire burrito, 2 tacos, and the chips had so much salt on them that they were inedible. It was like somebody took a half a container of cheap table salt and dumped it in one small bag of chips. The four bites of the burrito I managed to eat due to extreme hunger, now has me...
Read moreOkay, so I've given this location the benefit of the doubt since they opened and have been here multiple times. Now, here is my review.
The online app ordering, I believe, is a joke because it will say your order is ready even though it was never started in the restaurant. The food really has been average, with meaning that the portion sizes have been horrible. Small portions, then sometimes over filling portions. The service is by far the worst I have ever encountered. I placed a pick-up order for the chipoltelane upon receiving notification that my order was ready. Mind you, this is 830pm. I was completely ignored for over 10 minutes while trying to get get someone's attention. I was then told they were waiting on fresh rice. Then, 5 minutes later, I was asked for a different meat because they ran out.
My recent order, I'm writing this as I wait for my food.....
Ordered on app for a future pick up, over an hour ahead. Go to pick up in store this time, I arrive to find my food not on the shelf and have to wait to ask where my food is, only to find my order wasn't even started. I then waited 20 minutes to get food, only to get home and find they forgot my drinks and my wife's food. I go back to the restaurant and wait again for someone to acknowledge me. I say you forgot said items, and she goes. Oh, the bowl is right here. I say no, I want a fresh one as that's over 30 minutes old. The girl gives me a dirty look and tosses the bowl on the counter and then presumes to finish all of the other orders before she re makes my wife's bowl. By this time it's now over an hour and 10 minutes since my order was ready.
Take my experience and opinion how you like, but my family and I will not be returning to...
Read moreHands down the worst chipotle I have ever been too. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there, and took it out on the customers. Asked for double white rice, and it was like the man working was offended by me asking. I then asked for double serving of chicken and the man yet again did not give me proper portions, like he was trying to conserve what was left lol. Moved onto the toppings where I asked for a little bit of the corn salsa, and the lady threw a large spoon full on top, which felt like an F U. Finally, to top off my awful experience. The girl at the register was rude and clearly not happy to be there, which brought my whole experience full circle. Based on the other reviews, it’s clear that the problems are more than just a “new chipotle opening up”. I will never come to this location again, and hope there’s someone in management viewing these reviews to take some action.
For those of you wondering if the food held up to chipotle standard too, it did not whatsoever. Drive a few more minutes to the Chipotle at 14 mile and John R, and you will have a 10x better...
