We had a very good lunch especially their new memoesas. Their menu is extensive it still has the classic favorites with an array of new things to try too. I had their steak tip dinner while my husband had the Atlantic cod. Both were perfectly cooked, accurate, beautifully plated, hot and fresh. The service as always was excellent. Our server was very friendly, efficient, and helpful which is the norm for them rather than the luck of the draw. Our experiences with Bob Evans always sets a high standard for others to follow but opens our eyes to what we should be able to expect from not just Bob Evans in our future travels but any other restaurants we visit. We are definitely looking forward to going back and trying more of thier new menu items.! Read moreThe only reason these are low is because it is a hit or miss with this place. A few times we've been there and the wait time was long, a cook left and had to wait for the other to come in so that meant we had to wait on our food. This last time we came for dinner our waitress was doing great. We put in our order and then more customers started coming in. We started to notice that a family that was there way before us was still waiting for their food. We got there before 7pm and had to wait for our dinner right around 8pm. No one came by to tell us why the long wait, we saw the manager back with the chef helping. After about an hour we finally got our food from another waitress, my mom told her if she can put a to go order in and the waitress said yes, wrote the order down and said she will get that order. While we were getting boxes for a left over food, my mom asked about the To-Go order that she had placed 15 minutes before with the other waitress. She said she would check. When she came back she said the waitresses shift had ended and didn't put in order!! We were in shock. So that meant, we had to wait another 15-20 minutes for the To-Go order. We then find out that they were short staffed, 1 waitress, 1 chef, manager, 1 hostess/pick-up orders, 1 girl who is a waitress? And was cleaning most of the time. Read moreThis is by far the worst customer service experience I have had in my life. If I could give zero stars, I would. The only person who had some sort of customer service was the guy at the front door (didn't catch his name but he is in a wheelchair). I had a pick-up order and was not aware that I could just go to the shelf and pick it up (At least that's what it seemed like after I was ignored by multiple employees and was greeted with sarcastic/rude customer service). I stood there for about 3-5 mins as employees who appeared to not be doing anything just stood around, in fact, about 2 employees locked eyes with me and didn't even gesture to say that someone would be there to help me momentarily. Outside of the employees that locked eyes with me, two passed right by me and did not even utter a word. After standing there for more time, an employee FINALLY decided to ask me if I needed help. Being frustrated, I still remained kind and told her that I made a pick-up order. Her follow-up questions were asked in a rude tone as if I owed her something. After answering her questions, she finally handed me my food. As I left the store, I heard the employee make a remark about me as if I could not hear/had already left the store...If this is how employees are trained (to make rude, slick remarks about customers) I will NEVER spend another dime on this subpar, bland "food."
