This store needs an immediate investigation into management by the company. The amount of baristas that have either quit or have been unjustly fired in the last 6 weeks is absolutely ridiculous. Want a real look into this store? This store is currently being managed by an outside hire with about maybe 8 months of experience at Starbucks. Said manager was never trained properly on drinks, or how to make prep and has to ask baristas multiple times how to make things. As well as not dating things correctly, so that mocha your drinking… probably expired. Is this someone you want running your store? Besides that, baristas are being denied time off and forced to work or face retaliation when the manager has previously approved said time off request. Baristas are being scheduled outside their availability including minors who are in school. Going further up the management ladder, the DM of this store is also no support what so ever. Baristas and Shift Supervisors reach out to the DM with concerns and are always met with unkept promises. This store got robbed in September of 2024, wanna know what they went through? The store manager and DM didn’t answer the phone calls. Other store managers had to show up to make sure everything was okay. Once they did answer they didn’t care whatsoever. After that the Baristas and Shift Supervisors came up with different things we can do to make us feel more safe at work. These things included opening later, fixing the lights outside, having more than 2 people open, getting cameras outside, getting better cameras inside, getting a back door, etc. All that got fixed? More people now open and they open later. That is such a safety risk not only to your Baristas but your customers as well. Not to even start with what these workers deal with on a daily basis at this store. While yes most of the customer base is somewhat kind almost every day they have to deal with a customer screaming at them for literally doing their job and most of the time, it’s the customer in the wrong. What does the manager do? Either nothing at all to de-escalate the situation or yell at the worker who did nothing wrong. These Baristas and Shifts are humans too and deserve to be treated as such especially by the people...
Read moreMe and my friend stop at this starbucks almost every morning before school and it is usually busy so we order ahead. This time we went through the drive through to pick up because we still had 15 more minutes until it was ready and figured by the time we pulled through it would be ready. We get up to the speaker and it’s pitch black and no one answered for about 2-3 minutes. With there being a long line behind me, I didn’t want to hold it up longer by waiting if the speaker wasn’t working so i pulled forward. not thinking it would be a big deal considering it was just a pick up, and obviously thinking the speaker wasn’t working at that point. We get up to the window and explain what happened and apologized for inconveniencing them. The girl proceeds to have an attitude and tell me they are really busy which is fine, I work in customer service as well and i understand. The girl leaves the window open and walks to her other coworkers and tells them what happened. I hear the first girl she tells say “It’s really not that hard to figure out” and looks at me as she’s saying it. Then looks at me again and says “yeah I know you can hear me” or along the lines of. We sit there for 5 minutes being harassed by a few of the staff members all loudly talking about us to each other and to our faces. “If you can’t respect customer service workers then don’t go out to eat” one tells us, as if what happened was even that deep and had nothing to do with being respectful. We finally get our food and then their shift lead tells us again for the third time to “next time wait where you are supposed to” as if i hadn’t already explained and apologized for thinking their system was broken. Anyways the food and coffee was good but I have never been treated that way especially by people my own age at any fast food or restaurant. We even called back and the shift lead proceeds to gaslight us saying that he can “assure none of that happened” and that we were...
Read moreI’m generally not one to complain but this is like the 5th time I’ve had a horrible experience at this Starbucks.
This Starbucks is incredibly slow, regardless if you put in your order online and show up when expected. Example: today I placed my order at 8:42, “ready” at 9:14 (already a bit ridiculous but okay, rush hour) ACTUALLY ready 9:38. It should not take nearly an hour to get one $7 drink made incorrectly (the only customization was no whip, it’s not like I ordered something weirdly specific)
This parking lot is extremely dangerous. The drive thru line is always blocking the entrance and people have to pull in and out blindly due to the cars blocking lines of sight. This parking lot could easily be made one way traffic, if they’d take out the 3 parking spots next to the side door, to allow traffic to go around the building. Those few spots both impede and are impeded by traffic exiting the drive thru. This would also make the available parking spaces a lot safer, allowing you to exit if there’s not spots left. The way it’s currently set up, if there are no parking spaces, you would realistically have to back out of the entire lot, as there’s no way of safely going around the side of the building.
Most of the staff is trying their best. But this location cannot keep up with the amount of traffic it receives. Something needs to change. The kitchen is not large enough to support more staff, the parking lot is not large enough to support the flow of customers. The franchisee here really needs to consider a second location with changes made to this current one, or a larger location to support the people who come here daily. I recognize the parking lot may be out of their control, but the renter could get in touch with the property owner about making it safer for patrons of not just Starbucks but the other businesses...
