Unimpressed with this place. I'm a flight attendant and try to find a fun coffee shop on all of my layovers. This one was close to my hotel and got good reviews so I figured-why not? Regret.
The staff was anything but friendly. You know your typical hipster, too cool for you coffee snob. The selection of crepes seemed good however $10 for a small crepe seemed a little steep (but maybe I'm just cheap bc I'm a broke FA)
The atmosphere was ALRIGHT. Tiny with windows looking out to the street. Cute. But the space left you bumping into people and unintentionally overhearing everyone's conversation.
I was pretty put off when I ordered a coffee "for here" that didn't even have ONE free refill-granted I would've even paid $.50 for a refill but it was $1.50! $2 would've gotten me a LARGE to go.
Decided if I was going to practically buy a new coffee I might as well go to a BETTER place. I walked two blocks (or so) over to Colectivo-MUCH better. If you start heading to Bradbury's walk .2 miles further and have a better...
Read moreBeen a big fan for several years. This place has, hands down, the best quality coffee and lattes in Madison. They really know their stuff when it comes to coffee. Their 'savory' crepes (as opposed to their dessert ones which I've never had) are always delicious and made with quality, fresh ingredients. They always have 3-4 to choose from and at least one without meat (except for the egg) if that's your thing. Every week or so they will have one or two new crepes you can order. They can get a bit samey after a while but it's all good - the first time I had one though it was heaven inside my mouth. The place is really small and can get a bit cramped but they make use of the space well and it has a very cozy atmosphere and is brightly lit with 20ft high walls of nothing but windows. Friendly staff too. Only complaint is they close at 6:30pm every day which is a shame. Also occasionally a bit too warm in...
Read moreLocated two hundred feet from the children’s museum. We stopped in at Bradbury’s after a fun filled day for a coffee pick me up. We ended up staying for the crepes. We ordered two pour over coffees and two crepes. They offer sweet and also savory crepes. The savory crepes are made with buckwheat. Being a gluten free family we ordered the buckwheat crepes with two different fillings. One being lemon curd and the other Nutella, banana, and toasted almond. Both of them fantastic! The lemon curd and Nutella are both made in house. When they say small corner bistro they are not joking. It is a cool little place with a surprising amount of seating. Friendly staff, great food and coffee. We also received complimentary drip coffee for the road. Both the pour over and...
