Burger King — Restaurant in Madison

Full experience was disappointing! Had to repeat my order 4 times for them to get it right on the display (Ordered 3 egg and cheese buscuits, 3 orange juice, 1 milk, and a 3-piece of french toast). They had entered 2 egg and cheese croissants, 3 OJ, 1 milk and 3 hash browns. She repeated it back correctly after the 4th try. I get to the window and give them my card to pay and they said after swiping it twice that it won't take the charge for the total $15 because of their connectivity and because the balance due was $15, so I had to pay with cash. Insane and total BS! Lucky for them I had it (never carry cash normally) and paid the total. After getting to work with the food, I find they gave me 3 BACON and egg buscuits which no one could eat because they either hate or won't eat bacon. I was HOT angry! Called the store and demanded that they have my egg and cheese buscuits ready for me the next morning, no questions. The man told me that I had to have my receipt WHICH THEY NEVER GAVE ME. I visited this location on Thursday, January 5, 2023. I placed a mobile order for a bacon cheeseburger combo with onion rings and a coke and my favorite, an Oreo shake. This location was not confused by my mobile order. This location gave my favorite, the Oreo shake in the right sized cup, this location got my order right and the food was hot. The pleasant lady at the drive thru must have created customer service because she was top notch A++++ Awesome!!! She asked me if I needed a cup holder or zesty or ketchup. This location did not have an excessive wait time and this location blows Burger King on Jeff rd out of the water. Scratch that, a Burger King that has been closed down for years and has weeds growing up around it could blow Jeff rd Burger King out of the water. This location on Hwy 20 in madison is awesome and I’m glad I choose to come here and give BK another try after the experience I had with their Jeff rd location last week. Burger Kings are usually hit or miss but once you learn the things the employees have to deal with it makes a little more sense. If you place an order through the BK app, you may think they immediately get to work on it. Wrong! I don't like breakfast foods so I ordered burgers through the app and was still waiting 10-15 minutes when I pulled up despite ordering 20 minutes earlier. So I asked what I could do to make sure it was ready when I got there since I knew they had to drop fries and burgers special since it was breakfast time. That's when I found out that they can't start the order until we get there and go through the drive through intercom. Such a dumb way to do it. So now I am going to place my order through the app and call to let them know it's there and to start it so it will be ready when I pull in. BK do better. Either allow your customer to select an option to begin the cooking early or something. I want to make it as easy as I can on your staff and I feel like many other customers do too.
