Waffle House — Restaurant in Madison

We ate breakfast there a couple of weeks ago on a Friday and it was the worst service we've ever had ,the waitress she never bothered to give us refills unless we flagged her down we waited 40 minutes on our breakfast and when we finally got, I ordered well done eggs they were runied, order well done eggs, wrong toast, it was a bother for her to redo, gravy, toast, eggs and gravy, so thick you could stand your spoon in it, and cold also, hashbrows cold, the food set for the longest, before she got it to us she was too busy waiting on her regulars and, they came in way after us and they got their food and ate and we're gone. Finally got her attention to let her know I was not happy with the runin eggs and ask for them to bring me what I ordered it took them 15 minutes and my breakfast was already gone and didn't hear comes the eggs and eggshells were in them I knew the cook was not happy with what he had to redo so he made sure they were running late to get them to me and he did not care if eggshells got in them , I have been to many waffle House and I would have to say this is the worst one and the most unprofessional with attitude when it comes to giving you what you ordered, would not recommend and would not ever go back. the waitress did not try to make it right for us being customers, I should have went to the manager and we should have not had paid for this disgusting breakfast I told my husband I am not leaving her a tip usually you leave a pienny,when you're not happy but I don't think she really knew what that meant, but my husband was nicer than me he left her a $2 tip but ,she ...

I went in to or a to go meal after working 12 hours and there was a guy stand at the cash register with the cook trying to read a recipe or something for 2 or 3 minutes then the guy left so I was looking at a menu at the cash register for about 5 minutes or so and the waitress kept saying she would be right with me I’m looking around and the waffle irons looked as if they haven’t been cleaned in a week and I see what looks to me like to go plates and I’m just looking back and forth between the menu and the restaurant and finally the waitress comes to me with a few people already behind me at this point and said you get a to go order I replied yes then she said that they didn’t have any to go plates so I left and as I was leaving two or three more people was coming in the door so I wait in my car a few minutes to see if anybody else was going to walk out after me they don’t but I did see a guy sitting in the to go chairs and he was the last person that came in he so I assumed he got his to go order because the last person that went in had already had sat down in a stool or eat in chair I think Waffle House should roll back their cameras to see if he got a to go order if not that start ordering the things they need for to go orders I bet if I ordered and over paid door dash I would’ve gotten it...

We came in there today and were waiting to be sitted and then there came two tables available they just needed wiped down and the cups and napkins picked up, so my party started to walk down there and this waitress Sarah came around the corner and said "are you waiting to be seated? I said yes and she said well you are going to wait until these tables are cleaned but there is a table down there, I said where? Instead of taking us down there she said down there, so we went looking to see where she was talking bout. After we seated ourselves, she came over and said "do you need a menu?" No, good morning, how are yall. Nothing. Sarah seriously needs to work on her customer service, she was rude and condescending.

Feb 2024 Thought we would give this one a try again. Big mistake! Wasnt greeted when we came in, no silverware was given until asked for, the food was delivered before we got our silverware, then our food was cold, bacon was burnt. The floor was filthy! We will not be back to...
