I’m writing this review to share a deeply disappointing and disheartening experience my family had while staying at a Clarion Hotel. As a parent of a special needs child who uses a wheelchair and has no bladder control due to a medical condition, we travel with great care and responsibility—and we also expect a baseline of understanding and dignity when we check in as guests.

During our stay, my child experienced a bladder accident in bed—something that is medically unavoidable. Instead of handling this situation with compassion or professionalism, hotel staff simply sprayed the mattress with bleach, moved us to another room, and then kept our $100 deposit without any meaningful discussion. There was no consideration of the fact that this was a medical issue related to a disability, not a careless act or a violation of hotel rules.

What we experienced feels like discrimination—plain and simple. This treatment suggests that guests with disabilities are not welcome or supported here, and that’s unacceptable. The Americans with Disabilities Act exists for a reason, and hospitality providers should be trained to understand and uphold it.

We will no longer be using Clarion Hotels for any of our future travel needs. Families traveling with loved ones who have disabilities deserve respect, not shame or financial penalties for something beyond their control.

I hope Clarion takes this feedback seriously and uses it as an opportunity to educate staff and implement policies that reflect true inclusion and...

I stayed at your property from October 10–12, 2025. Having stayed there the previous year and enjoyed the quiet, clean environment away from city traffic, I decided to return. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing.

Upon arrival, my room had a strong sewage odor coming from the bathroom. I immediately notified the front desk by phone on October 10th and was informed that no other rooms were available, but that maintenance would be sent to address the issue. We left for our event, but upon returning, the odor remained. I contacted the front desk again and was told that maintenance would come by the next morning.

Before leaving the next day, I reminded the front desk of the issue, and they assured me it would be handled. However, when we returned later that evening, the problem persisted. The odor was still very strong, especially in the bathroom, and we had to keep the bathroom door closed to manage the smell. At no time during our stay were we offered an alternate room or any other accommodation.

At checkout, I once again informed the front desk about the ongoing odor. I was told that housekeeping had poured bleach down the toilet and sink to help rectify the issue—although, when I initially reported the problem, I was told that maintenance would need to handle it.

Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be returning to this location or recommending...

I have been staying in this chain of hotels nationwide for a long time, particularly in Huntsville Alabama, where I have stayed in several chains of these hotels for work reasons, but in my last experiences in this Clarion Madison hotel, I had a disgusting experience, since while on the night of Wednesday, June 18, 2025 I woke up with a strong itching in my body to which in the early morning of the next day, Thursday, June 19, I found all over my body in the back several bites which to date are still unbearable The itching sensation. I turned to the person in charge of that hotel's manager and the answer I had from her was rude, where she launched false accusations regarding these itches in my body saying that that situation had occurred not because of that hotel's misuse but because I opened the window of the room and they had bitten me with mosquitoes. As you can see in the photos, the mosquitoes do not sting in the pattern that can be seen in my body. If you do not want to live an experience that you regret like the one that happened to me, and you do not want to be treated in a rude way and that does not have any quality of attention and customer service, DO NOT STAY IN THAT HOTEL. Do not waste your time or money staying at this location unless you enjoy the experience of false accusations, rude guest relations, and retaliation...

Decent hotel but don’t expect to get sleep during the day. Most hotels have the foresight to install blackout curtains. Not all people sleep at night and work during the day/travel. I’m an electrician and I work mostly at night in different cites. So having a comfortable bed in a dark room is nice when it’s 11am and the sun is bright and shiny. Food for thought. Edit: Walls are thin so you can hear every TV on your floor. Edit. Your “Main curtain” is not black out curtains and if you dont close them right then anyone can see into your room at night. Why should I have to call the front desk? That doesn’t solve the problem of the walls being so thin that you can hear everything in another room or out in the hall way even if other visitors or talking normally. I’m giving you (owners) my perspective (Choice Privileges Diamond Member) on your hotel which I’ve stayed at thousands of other hotels all over the world. None of which had curtains like this or walls so thin you can hear a pin drop next door. Thank you for accepting the faults you have which if fixed would accommodated alot more customers, whom of which could benefit from a quite, dark room during the middle of the day.

Room itself is nice enough, albeit the air was stagnant and musty. So much so I made a trip to walmart for air freshener. Comfortable beds, clean until you get to the showers. The reuse between customers shampoo and conditioner bottles had dried up used soap from who knows when. So I'd definitely suggest and implore you to bring your own. This must be a local party hotel because holy god was it loud. So many slammed doors. Breakfast smelled alright but the eggs gave my family member a slight bit of food poisoning I think. Nothing too serious but still quite upset his system. The coffee is good though. The staff is friendly, except for the general "manager" Starla, who pretty much said I was a liar about the eggs. Expensive but alright if you bring your own toiletry items and eat out.
