El Nopal Mexican Food — Restaurant in Madison

My wife and I went here for dinner tonight and was very disappointed. Two tables that came in after we had done ordered got their food before us. When they did bring food out they brought only my wife’s meal and said they were going back to get the rest and never came back. 15 mins later we was able to locate our waitress to ask if my meal was ready by this time my wife’s meal was already cold because she didn’t want to eat without me. I ordered a sirloin steak medium rare and it came out well done. Once again we couldn’t locate any servers to have it remade so I ended up eating some of my wife’s meal. When the waitress did come back I asked that the meal just be taken off the ticket and asked for our ticket it took another 20 mins to have our ticket brought to us. On a bright side tho the sangria was good could have done without the 12 cherries...

Was in a hurry and chose not to visit any of the multiple fast food joints. Went in and asked the host for something quick. I'm not picky! The host did not understand my alien English language in middle America. However, the host did find someone that could. I asked her to just pick something quick and hot. She brought me a huge $12 burrito with ground beef and plenty of queso on top. It was excellent and big enough to make two meals. Also came with bag of tasty tortilla chips and salsa. Food wasn't that good. We ordered waters and asked for refills when server came around. He gave me sweet tea instead of water. Never came back to check on us so I just drank it since my water was gone. Then get check and he charged me for the tea. Went to talk to them about it at the register and still wanted to charge me since I drank it. I guess I'm just supposed to go without since the server doesn't listen or check on us. They also messed up one of our orders but wasn't worth delaying our meal to correct. I'm not one to complain on here, but I won't recommend nor return...
