Will not be back! The guy who waited on me (didnt offer his name and badge was turned around) asked me what I needed ( this was how I was greeted). I said I "thought" I needed a new battery. He asks my number. He said "you will be getting a text giving me permission to get into your phone". I was returning a text to my husband (he is out of town) and they guy says "did you get it yet" I said yes and finished. He said, "yes, out of warranty, you will need to go next door, oh they arent in, but they can sell you a battery". I said "what about the jet pack?" (I was coming in to possibly look into purchasing a new phone and upgrading my jet pack.) He said "it's out if warranty too and the best I could do is upgrade for about $25 a month." I said "what if I no longer want it?" (I told him it hasnt worked in 2 months) he said "you have to call verizon and tell them". I said "I dont have to turn it in"? He said no. I said, "is there anyway you can tell if I need a new battery?" He took my phone and said "it is at a 100% now, you said it wasnt charging". I said ,no, I said I "thought" I needed a new battery, and I have had it plugged in charging all day. He said here, "I put your battery on medium" (or something similar, I was so mad at his tone of voice and his actions by now, I just wanted to get out of there). I grabbed my phone and jet pack and I mumbled to myself "useless" and walked out. I've worked for the public for over 30 years. There was just myself and another person (who was being helped by what sounded like a really nice girl) in the store. I never greet a person the way he did, nor do I ever make them feel as uncomfortable as he did me. Therefore I hope he heard me. Not once did he offer me anything else, or any further help. I was in there today, 6/15 at 6:17pm. I hope that when I go to the next Verizon store it goes better. If not I...
Read moreSparsely decorated, long waits, and the staff isn't that well trained. I remember when phone store employees could actually solve your technical issues and could actually fix a broken phone of it wasn't too far gone. Not so much anymore. Verizon keeps these people as poorly trained as possible to save money and to frustrate their customers into tossing their perfectly operable phones with small issues away in favor of something brand new that Verizon can profit from.
The discount Apple store vibe they are trying to emulate inside is just an awful failure because the decor is non-existent and the store employees just aren't that smart. One of them used the word "like" about 46 times in one paragraph while trying to sell her customer on, like, the latest and, like, greatest iPhone, while the other couldn't seem to figure out how to take my bill pay without help. If they graduated high school, it was not by much. Just the type of person I want handling my sensitive data and high end electronics. I'd much rather take my phone to the guy at the family owned generic phone store that barely speaks English but actually knows what he's doing and can fix my technical issues.
Don't make a special trip here unless you have an extra half hour or more to wait in line with no real definitive answer to your technical issues at the end. I would drive to an Indian-owned generic phone store if you are actually trying to fix any hardware or software issues, because they won't be fixed...
Read moreWe got new phones and on the first day of ordering them Andrew was who helped us. He was amazing (friendly, professional, knowledgeable) he explained everything possible about how the upgrades and how that works and the price. He put our order in and was able to get us the newest apple and Android phone in, in just 2 days. When we came back 2 days later Kody was who was helped us. He was just as amazing he also was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He helped us pick out all the best accessories at the best price and put them all on for us beautifully. In the end for 2 of the newest iPhone and Android phones on the market plus best screen protectors and cases we only ended up sending $160. Absolutely can't beat that price for what all we got. Both associates were beyond helpful and I only hope that Verizon can manage to keep them two around as long as possible. Because about 3 or 4 years ago they had some real a$$holes working there. The only good worker back then was Jess. So I'm very happy/ impressed to see they hired some actual decent associates again! 5 stars to you kody and...
