Okay first off to the guy who mentioned one of the staff members name.. seriously? Do you have nothing better to do than to do ridicule some teenage kid, who was actually in the military fighting for your freedom before he worled there so that you can act like a bafoon! He is not a druggie AT ALL and was shaking nervous because it was the grand reopening in November 2011, and we were all basically not trained by corporate. thats right i used to work their too. I had to quit because i found something closer to home, and the place was a disaster waiting to happen. peoples experiences are terrible because this place is not training employees right, they yell and make the girls cry during service. the POS system is outdated and mind boggling, and the whole system of who rings who up and why something is done their way instead of the right way is no ones fault but management. also to everyone complaining about the ghettoness. its the freaking eastside people, move west if you need to feel snooty while eating at a diner. i am not defending these peoples mistakes but i am just asking people to understand that these kids in here cooking and serving are only as good as the managers train them. maybe you all ought to think about your first jobs and call the number that someone left and complain to the right person. dont be such rick's with d's! anyway i would not suggest going here as the back of house is not clean, and the service is terrible, but just dont be so harsh people, you may have cost someone their jobs and maybe their lives. some of the kids dont have much to hold on to and are trying really hard just to struggle by and be losers that you people just get to crap on when you dont get what you want like...
Read moreWe came into the restaurant and the host asks us, " "What are you here for? Ah...breakfask? He responds "ah you mean you really want to eat inside here? Well, yes, your sign says, sanitized, indoor seating, now open. We've had our Covid shots, we're wearing masks, i think we are ready. So......we sit down, order, our coffee comes, and there was not many people in the restaurant but we were seated next to a couple of women who spoke different languages. Their assumption was if you talk louder the other person would understand. The ladies were directly to my back, but it seemed as if they were sitting with us as I couldn’t hear my husband across the table. Enough said, wierd social distancing. Anyway, are food comes and SUPRISE its a 1/2 order. It was crêpes with lingon berries and sweet cream. So I ask the waitress as to why I only have 1/2 an order, to which i get "WELL, this is only 4somthing where a full order is like $10. I can bring you another 1/2 if you want." I wasnt aware you could do 1/2 plates, otherwise we would have ordered twice as much, all half orders and had a small plate brunch. So i décide to pass on the second 1/2, the crêpes were fine, no creme, topped with a ton of lingonberries. My husband had a musroom and cheese omlette with pancakes. Good, nothing special. Why when you have pancakes as a side do they always put them on the smallest plate possible plate so when you put the syrup on the pancakes, it goes all over the the table! The coffee was always filled.. Everything was ok but just not up to nomal standards. We will chalk this up to covid and try it again in...
Read moreWould rate 0/5 if the option existed. My wife and I visited later on a Saturday. We arrived alongside a different party of 4 other gentlemen, we were promptly seated and given menus like normal, we sat for about 10-15 minutes and no drink orders were taken for either us or the other table of 4. The next time we even saw our server, he was seating another table of 6 that had just come in the door, and was back within a minute to ask for their drink order. This annoyed the table of 4 and they promptly left to go elsewhere. After delivering the tables drinks, he asked if they were ready to order and the table replied yes, on his way to the back he pointed at our table, I thought he was reminding himself that he forgot to take our drink order, but he was joking with the cook about the table of 4 that had just walked out. He hastily delivered the food to 2 gentlemen at the only other seated table in the entire restaurant and about fell over himself to get his tablet to take the table of 6’s order. It was at this point my wife and I were fed up with being ignored and walked out ourselves. My wife and I have no issue waiting longer if things are hectic or their is light staffing or whatever situation arises but the restaurant was dead save for one other table and the server appeared more interested in being chummy with the table of 6 and ignoring two other tables entirely to the point they walked out. I would like a member of the managerial staff to contact me ASAP because this is completely...
