Jason's Deli — Restaurant in Madison

It’s saddens me to leave this review as I absolutely love Jason’s Deli, but the service and quality have gone down since the grand opening the dining area is never clean. The staff consist of a bunch of young kids who seem more into being playful than actually doing their jobs, my wife and I waited almost 20 minutes for two sides of meat for our salad and had to go up to the cashier two times in order to get the rest of our order. I was really disappointed with the atmosphere. The salad bar was in disarray and not wiped down or the area swept and kept clean. The actual dining area was in the same state, the tables and chairs, as Well, as the floors, needed cleaning and Most if not all the tables and chairs were dirty. hoping all of this can be corrected and still be able to come and enjoy. Yesterday my family and I returned to Jason’s Deli to try to give them another chance we waited almost 15 minutes before I had to go back up to the front counter and ask how long it may be before food would be ready. We did take out our order was completely wrong, the drink station was disgusting as well as the ice cream station. The floors and tables still have not been kept up. I watched as one of the employees took her hands and white things off of the salad bar on the floor. As much as I love Jason’s Deli, I will not be returning. There has to be something done in regards to the cleanliness of this store, which is lacking properly...

This place used to be a fantastic experience. This past Sunday (7/28) we stopped here around 4:30, waited at least over 7 minutes at the front register with no one at all present to take an order. There was no crowd, no rush, only a few patrons at tables. There was one sole employee at the end of the counter assembling sandwiches, and taking to the tables, occasionally looking at us and never saying a word.

I finally went and asked him if there was anyone at all available to take our order. He didn't respond audibly at all, just turned and walked slowly towards the register, then past it, around to the kitchen door, made some hand signals and then walked back to putting together plates, again never speaking to us. Someone then came out front but immediately had to address a patron who was bringing back a sandwich they had made incorrectly. At this point, the manager who has been smoking out back with two employees when we arrived to the location finally came up front, but then went straight to the office.

By this time, the managements lack of ability to operate properly was evident and we knew the experience would be less than pleasant so we left. It's a shame because this place used to be so well cared for, and the food was...

Thank goodness we have a Deli in Madison! And it's a Jason's Deli! And a great one this is! My wife and I came here for Valentine's and everything was perfect. This location had just opened a couple of days ago and was packed. But we were able to find parking immediately right near the front door and they have full sized parking places too. Lighting all around the restaurant was beautiful and well placed. We only waited in line for maybe 2 minutes, and the lady who took our order was very professional. We found seating right away and only waited maybe 7 or 8 minutes before our orders arrived! Everything we ordered was exactly as we ordered it. Both our dinners work delicious with large sized portions. We were able to talk across the table and hear each other with no trouble at all even though the restaurant was packed. So they laid out this restaurant properly for not only traffic but noise control. Service was excellent, and we both enjoyed free ice cream after dinner. This dinner was a true experience, and we will come back again and again. We both highly recommend you going to this restaurant and seeing for yourself how excellent food and...
